Television actress, Vidisha Srivastava is on cloud nine as she recently became a mom to her adorable baby girl. For the unversed, Vidisha tied the knot with the love of her life, Sayak Paul, in December 2018 in Banaras. And the duo hopped onto their parenthood journey with the arrival of their baby girl on July 11, 2023. And now the new mom of the town is back to shine thoroughly in her professional life again.
Taking to her IG handle on August 28, 2023, new mom, Vidisha Srivastava dropped a cute photo of herself from her makeup room. In the photo, the actress can be seen looking stunning as she slipped into a black full-sleeved t-shirt. With her hair tied in half bun and a soft touch-up, Vidisha completed her look. The new mommy flaunted her flawless skin as she posed for a sweet mirror selfie, hinting at her comeback on the set.

Vidisha Srivastava, who currently plays the popular role of Anita Vibhutinarayan Mishra, aka 'Anita Bhabhi', on the show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, talked about her comeback to the show. In an interaction with Times Now Digital, Vidisha shared that the first day of working after maternity leave was really good. The new mom also revealed that she had taken her daughter to the set. Speaking along the same lines, Vidisha shared that although she has started working again, she is not currently working full time as she doesn't want to leave her mommy duties as well. Vidisha shared:
"The first day was amazing. I took my daughter along with me on the sets of the show, since I can't leave my mother duties as well. I have started working on the show again, but not for full time. Thankfully, the production house is very cooperative."
In the same interview, Vidisha Srivastava revealed how she has been getting support from her family members in balancing work and parenting life. The actress shared that her mom has become a pillar of strength for her, and she takes care of the baby as well. Vidisha also heaped praises on her hubby and revealed that he has been supporting her as well. Talking about coming back to work, Vidisha mentioned that it was the mutual decision of the production, and her as well as she recovered very quickly. Vidisha can be quoted as saying:
"My family has supported me a lot. Especially, my mom has been a big pillar of support for me. She takes care of my baby when I do the shoot. My husband has also supported me a lot. It was a mutual decision of the production and me to come for the shoot, since I recovered quickly."

Earlier in an interview with the ETimes, Vidisha announced the arrival of a baby girl on July 11, 2023. The actress stated that she had to go through painful labour for over 18 hours before she gave birth to her little bundle of joy. The actress further mentioned that the moment she saw the face of her baby girl, the discomfort just instantly vanished. In the same interview, Vidisha also revealed the name that she opted for her baby girl. The actress stated that she named her baby girl, Aadya, which is a synonym name for Goddess Durga.
