Bollywood actress, Vidya Balan is known for her amazing acting skills, which she has demonstrated in her superhit films. She is not just an actress that believes in following the herd walk. In the early 2000s when the role of the actress was just limited to being a lover of the hero, Vidya created her own niche and she became the lady 'Shah Rukh Khan' of Bollywood. While the road to success wasn't easy for Vidya, she kept walking despite all the trolling.
Vidya likes to keep her personal life private. The gorgeousness is married to film producer, Siddharth Roy Kapur. However, she makes sure to not make details of her relationship a piece of the gossip news for the gossipmongers. Recently, Vidya heaped praises on her hubby, Siddharth and credited him for changing her thoughts on marriage.

In an interview with The Times of India, Vidya talked about her hubby, Siddharth. She revealed that he is one of the most patient people she has met. She also revealed that earlier she would think that marriage and live-ins are one in the same thing. However, her husband, Siddharth changed her thoughts regarding the same and she feels immensely happy in being married to him. She said:
"I have to say that Siddharth is the most patient listener I've come across in my life. He doesn't give advice; he never tells me to do this or do that. He just hears me out. And through that process, I end up developing clarity. I feel blessed to have him as my partner. He accepts me the way I am, on my good days and bad days. We've been married for close to 10 years and that's what I think I've come to realize that I now appreciate marriage because of him. I used to feel earlier that whether you’re in a live-in or you’re married doesn’t matter. But now my experience of marriage has truly been wonderful because Siddharth is truly a partner."
Earlier, in an interview with Film Companion, Vidya had revealed the reason behind not working with her hubby, Siddhart for a movie. She had said that after their first film, Ghanchakkar had failed they were both in a low mood. After which, they had decided at least one person should be the pillar of strength during another's low phase.
Vidya had also added that she doesn't want people to say that she got success because it was her husband's films. She had said:
"I also think that I don't want anyone to reduce my achievements to saying this happened for you because of your husband because one has worked very hard to get here and as much as I love him, I don't want that to happen for either of us. It's very reductive in a lot of ways. People say na aapka toh production house hai na and I say mere pati ka hai, mera nahi hai, fark hai. They don't understand it."
On the work front, Vidya is currently seen in the film, Jalsa!
