Human life is miraculous by all means, not just from birth to death, but even after life, one can massively contribute to humanity. Well, for the unversed, organ donation is one such way wherein a person can pledge to donate one or all of their organs, which can help someone else lead a new life.
While anyone can pledge for such a noble cause, some of our most loved Indian celebrities have already pledged to organ donation. This list already includes prominent names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and many others. And, it is now South superstar, Vijay Deverakonda who has added his name to this beautiful act.

While attending a recent public welfare event, the dashing hunk, Vijay, revealed that he and his mother have registered and pledged to donate their multiple organs. Hailing it as one kind of an incredible choice in a lifetime, he said:
“Doctors tell me that there are a lot of surgeries happening only because of donors. It’s incredible that there are so many people donating emotionally for people. It’s a beautiful thing. At the same time, doctors were talking about how organ donations are comparatively less in South Asian countries”.

Vijay revealed that he just loved the idea of being able to help someone even after he’s gone. And if his organs are of no use to humanity even after maintaining a healthy lifestyle, they would be a waste. In his words:
“I think, I will donate all my organs. I would love for it to be part of someone after my life and help them in their life. I don’t see any point in wasting my organs. I stay fit and keep myself healthy… My mother and I have registered ourselves to donate our organs. It is such a beautiful thing that you continue to live on in some way because of your generosity. I encourage everyone to be open to the idea of organ donation.”
Vijay's generous and heartfelt decision has been highly lauded by millions of fans, who are simply proud of his decision. While this is not the first time Vijay has associated himself with a welfare cause, his fans are gushing over his generosity and kind heart.
