Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna are phenomenal actors who have proven this with their unbroken streak of remarkable performances. Both the actors are well-known for their versatility and have recently been basking in the success of their period drama, Chhaava. The film had a cathartic effect on its audience, which only speaks volumes for the actor's ability to portray their roles in the film. Now, Vijay Deverakonda has reacted to the same and revealed how enraged the film has left him.
Vijay Deverakonda recently made an appearance at the pre-release event of Suriya's upcoming film, Retro. The event was organised in Hyderabad. At the pre-release, Vijay spoke about how he recently watched Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna's Chhaava and revealed that the film had left him filled with anger.
During the event, Vijay Deverakonda was asked if he had the opportunity to go back in time, who would he like to meet. The actor responded to the question with a hit of violence which surprised not just the anchor but Suriya as well. Vijay revealed that he would like to meet the British and slap them. However, he revealed that he had also seen Chhaava recently, so he would also like to smack Emperor Aurangzeb. He was quoted as saying:
"I want to meet the British and give them two tight slaps. I recently watched Chhaava, and it enraged me. I'd probably take the opportunity to give Aurangzeb two to three tight slaps also. I want to meet so many others like that, just to hit them. Right now, it’s all I can think of."
Suriya was left amused by Vijay Deverakonda's response. However, when he was asked the same question, he had a completely different answer. The actor revealed that there is no one from the past that he misses, so he doesn't know whom he would consider going back in time for.
During the same interaction, Vijay Deverakonda was also asked if he would like to work with Sridevi, Ramya Krishnan, or Vijayashanti if he could go back in time. The actor responded, stating that he would rather work with Simran and Sonali Bendre. The actor hesitated and added that he would even like to work with Jyotika.
