Popular business reality show, Shark Tank India 2, has been making the headlines ever since it got aired in early January 2023. With every passing episode, we have seen some innovative pitches, judges' hilarious banter and criticising opinions, further increasing the audience's interest in the show. Undoubtedly, the reality show is extremely popular among the audience, and so are the judges, who enjoy an immense fan following.
In the recent episode of Shark Tank India season 2, one of the judges, Vineeta Singh, who is the Co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, pitched her cosmetic brand to her fellow judges on the business reality show. The entrepreneur was accompanied by her husband, Kaushik Mukherjee, and the duo made an interesting pitch which left the Sharks impressed. Vineeta and her hubby, Kaushik finally managed to get an investment of Rs. 5 crores from all the Sharks, which was a big achievement for the couple.

During her pitch, Vineeta Singh talked about how the growth in the beauty industry in our country and highlighted how women are becoming more independent. Elaborating on the same, she shared that women's choices for cosmetics are also changing due to the societal pressure on them to look a certain way. However, she also mentioned that women are always on the radar of criticism and comments, so she wanted to introduce a cosmetic range for them to flaunt their looks with pride.
Vineeta Singh and her husband, Kaushik also discussed their brand's suitability for Indian skin tones and revealed how it struggled to reach this level. Talking about the various ups and downs, the duo shared that for the past 10 years, their company has been going through a tough time. Meanwhile, Kaushik also told the sharks that before finalising on SUGAR Cosmetics, they wanted to name the brand, ‘Kickass cosmetic’. Finally, the couple asked for an investment of Rs. 1 crore for 2 per cent equity from the Sharks.

Impressed with the business idea, the Sharks hailed the couple for how they managed to survive the difficult times and tried to earn profits despite all the adverse situations. They also had a fun banter with fellow Shark, Vineeta Singh and jokingly mentioned that one day she would be sharing the seat with the other Sharks. At last, all the Sharks offered a deal of Rs. 5 crores for 5 per cent equity to Vineeta and wished her good luck.

The second season of the business reality show, Shark Tank India, is coming to its end, as it has already reached the finale week. As the Finale approached, the show gave the audience a huge disappointment after making a Shark pitch her own brand. They flooded the post's comment section and started trolling Vineeta Singh for promoting her brand on the show. They even lashed out at the makers of the show for creating too much drama in the show.
