However, behind each of his successes is his wife, Anushka Sharma, who not only proved her support by being the loudest cheerleader for him but has been a constant motivation for the cricketer. Now, thanking her for his performance, after the glorious win at the T20I World Cup 2024, Virat posted a lovely photo with her. In the photo, the duo was seen lost in each other's embrace while enjoying the sunny hour of the day.

The photo was reportedly from one of Virat and Anushka's recent trips, and we are simply drooling over the picture. Along with the photo, Virat penned a heart-melting note for his ladylove, Anushka. He expressed his gratitude towards Anushka, and penned how she has turned into his backbone. He lovingly wrote:
"None of this would remotely be possible without you my love. You keep me humble, grounded and you always say it how it is with absolute honesty. I couldn’t be more grateful for you. This victory is as much yours as it’s mine. Thank you and I love you for being YOU @anushkasharma."
Anushka is indeed one of the biggest cheerleaders for Virat, and proof of this is often found. Thus, when Virat and his team lifted the T20I World Cup trophy in 2024, Anushka couldn't stop herself from praising her husband. She took to her Instagram handle and dropped an adorable photo of Virat holding the Player of the Match award. Sharing it, she penned:
“AND ….. I love this man @virat.kohli . So grateful to call you my home- now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this!”

Soon after the historic moment, Virat was seen video-calling his wife, Anushka, and his kids, Vamika and Akaay, right from the cricket ground.
