Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are hitting the headlines once again since reports surfaced that the lovebirds are all set to embrace parenthood for the second time. For the unversed, the madly-in-love duo tied the knot on December 11, 2017, in a surreal pastel-themed wedding, which became a trendsetter for the modern brides. Afterwards, they joined the parents league with the arrival of their daughter, Vamika on January 11, 2021. Now, if reports are to be believed, the family of three would soon become three.
Ahead of that, we got to know that Virat Kohli took an emergency flight from Guwahati to Mumbai to meet his darling wife, Anushka Sharma due to an emergency. Virat was currently busy with his World Cup warm-up matches in Guwahati. However, a report in BollywoodLife claimed that he had to take an emergency flight to meet Anushka ahead of Team India’s ICC ODI Cricket World Cup second warm-up match against the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3, 2023.

A source close to Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli revealed to Hindustan Times that they are expecting their second child. The report mentioned that the actress is in her second trimester. Further, the source added that the lovebirds would share their "good news" with the world at a later stage. And to avoid speculations about her pregnancy, Anushka has been avoiding public events. Another source close to the couple added that Anushka and Virat were recently spotted outside a maternity clinic, and they requested paps not to post their pictures on the internet. The report also mentioned that the lovebirds promised the shutterbugs that they would soon announce their pregnancy.

This year, during Ganesh Chaturthi, Anushka and Virat welcomed Ganpati Bappa at their home. They hosted an intimate Ganpati celebration at their home, and the glimpses were simply unmissable. For the first day of the puja, Anushka opted for a yellow-hued silk saree that featured broad red borders. She complemented her look with statement gold jewellery, minimal makeup, a bindi and a sleek bun. On the other hand, Virat looked dapper in a white kurta-pyjama.
