Virat Kohli is hailed as a cricketing legend across the world. Every time he walks on the field, his team is awestruck by his performance, his opponents fear him, former players adore him, and young cricketers get inspired by him. Virat Kohli rose to fame by winning the Under-19 World Cup in 2008, and his name was all over the headlines. And every Delhi parent would proudly take his name and ask their children to be like him. From making a jaw-dropping debut in Under-19 World Cup to making a mark as an important member of the Indian cricket team, Virat has come a long way.
Recently, we stumbled upon a rare and unseen video of Virat Kohli from 2006. Virat, who was a teenager then, looked unrecognisable. In the clip, his friend asked him to pose for the camera, and while he was posing, one of his other friends tried to ruin his gelled hairstyle. However, Virat Kohli asked him to stop. He looked super cute trying to fix his hair.

As soon as the video was uploaded, netizens were quick to comment. One user wrote, "Can't believe this man married Anushka Sharma." Another commented, "Are Virat itna chota tha 2006 me.. From a young age, Virat Kohli was sorted that his dream was to play for India. A while ago, one of his childhood friends shared a page from his scrapbook, which was signed by Virat Kohli in 2002-2003. For those who don't know, in those days kids used to keep scrapbooks, which recorded the likings and habits of their friends and what they were like. In the scrapbook, which Virat filled out, he stated his desire to play for India.

Last year, Virat's under-19 Delhi teammate, Pradeep Sangwan shared an incident recounting his friendship with the cricketer. In a blog for The Indian Express, Pradeep revealed that he had thought that Virat would have changed, but he is still the same. However, in front of his wife, Anushka, he portrays a 'good boy' self. An excerpt from Pradeep's article could be read as:
"I met him recently in some function, mujhe laga change hua hoga. As soon as Anushka crossed over to other side of the room, bhai chalu ho jaate (with his pranks). The moment his wife returned, he became a nice boy. As soon as his wife went to meet someone, Delhi ka Virat Kohli was back to talking in the same old style."
