Virat Kohli is one of the most loved Indian cricketers. While his performance on the field needs no introduction, the cricketer also made headlines with his drastic transformation in the last 12-14 years. With one glimpse at his old pictures from the beginning of his career, we can easily spot the chubby young kid. However, with immense hard work, specialised diets and a tough fitness regime, Virat could easily get a strong and fit body. Time and again, he shares drool-worthy pictures of himself from the gym, making his fans go gaga over them. But now we stumbled upon an old interview of Virat, wherein he revealed his mother thinks he has been unwell for the last few years.

Virat Kohli shared how his mother is always worried about his health

A fan page of Virat Kohli shared a clip from his interview with renowned presenter, Jatin Sapru for the Star Sports Network. In the short clip, Virat could be heard revealing a relatable thing about his mother, Saroj Kohli. He mentioned that while on one side, people keep praising him for his fitness and ask for tips, his mother remains extremely worried about his health. Talking about the same, he shared, "Unki taraf se toh mtlb aaj bhi wo phone karengi, log fitness ki baatein kar rahae hote hai wo shaam ko phone aa jayega match ke baad 'itne kamzor lag rahe ho, kuch khate hi nhi ho'." Soon, Jatin added:

"Universal mother problem."

Listening to Jatin, Virat further mentioned, "Toh maine kaha yaar ek taraf mereko log puch rahe hai aap kya kar rahe ho, training, ek taraf meri mummy bol rhi hai tum parathe nhi khate." To this, the presenter added how Virat's jawline has become more prominent due to his fitness regime and said, "Gaal ek taraf se andar chale gaye." Before Jatin could finish his sentence, Virat added that due to this reason, his mommy, Saroj has a firm belief that her son has been unwell for the last few years and has been hiding it from her. In Virat's words:

"Unko lagta hai ki matlb main bimar hu, unko lag raha hai main 8-9 saal se bimar hu, mujhe kuch dikkat hai main bata nhi raha hu. To woh toh aaj bhi consistent hai."

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in 2017 after dating for almost four years. Afterwards, the power couple embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Vamika, in 2021. Since then, the family of three is living the best of their lives and glimpses of the same are often found. In an old interview with Wrogn, Virat reflected on Anushka's motherhood journey with the arrival of their daughter. Virat shared how he was amazed by his loving wife's transformation. And talking about the strength it takes to become a mother, Virat shared how Anushka juggles between her career and motherhood. The cricketer said:

"When you see a life partner become a mother that's when you realise and understand the strength of a mother. The way Anushka handled everything is amazing and astonishing, she shot a whole film in between.”
