Amid the ongoing pregnancy rumours of Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli took a two-day break from the India Vs. England test series owing to personal reasons, which further ignited the diva's pregnancy reports. However, as per several reports, Virat has recently withdrawn his name from the remaining three matches with England. As per the reports, the cricketer let the BCCI officials, selection committee, and the Indian team management about the same on February 9, 2024, before the final selection. Soon after the reports made headlines, the BCCI secretary, Jay Shah, reacted to the same and stated that Virat would be unavailable for the next three matches of the India Vs England test series due to personal reasons. Jay Shah stated:
"Virat Kohli will remain unavailable for selection for the remainder of the series due to personal reasons. The Board fully respects and supports Kohli’s decision."

As soon as the news about Virat Kohli being unavailable throughout the entire test series between India and England came out, netizens started pouring their concerns into the comment section. While some users wondered if everything was okay with Anushka Sharma, others came to extend their support to the cricketer and his family members. On the other hand, a few days ago, there were rumours that Virat's mom was not well, which the player's family members have debunked. However, the announcement of Virat being unavailable in the series left netizens wondering if those reports were true. In the video, AB de Villiers talked about Virat's absence from the test series and stated that everything is fine with the cricketer's personal front. However, later, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, AB de Villiers mentioned that he made a terrible mistake by spreading false information, which was not true. On the day of the Pran Prathistha ceremony, a picture went viral online and netizens started claiming to be Anushka Sharma. On the other hand, some other users debunked such claims and stated it was some other actress, as neither Virat nor his wife was caught on any cameras or videos, which were shared online.
