We all know that Virat Kohli is very protective of his daughter, Vamika. Therefore, he has kept her away from the media glares. Now, the Indian skipper has shed some light on his personal life besides his wife, Anushka Sharma and Vamika. He shared his mother's reaction on seeing their daughter, Vamika and also how he wished that his father was there to witness Vamika's growing up years.

In a recent chat with cricketer, Dinesh Karthik, ahead of team India’s Test series in England, Virat Kohli walked down the memory lane and shared what he misses the most in his life. And now that his daughter, Vamika is growing up, she will surely miss the love of a grandfather. But on the other hand, Virat also spoke about the happiness on his mother, Saroj Kohli's face whenever she is around Vamika.
Going further in the chat, Virat expressed one of his wishes of going back in time and bringing his father back. Stating the same, Virat Kohli said, "He hasn’t seen me play. Now with our daughter, I have seen the happiness on my mother’s face. You sit down and think what if he was still here."

When Virat Kohli was asked about his first meeting with Anushka Sharma, he stated that he was joking around with her, but Anushka's reply had created a strong connection. He told Dinesh Karthik, "I joke around with everyone. I was joking around with her as well. She said, ‘it was the first time I saw someone around me joking about the things I have experienced as a child.’ So, that really connected."
On December 11, 2021, when Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had completed three years of marital bliss, Virat had taken to his IG handle to share a monochrome picture of them from their wedding. Sharing the photo, he had written, "3 years and onto a lifetime together", followed by a red heart emoticon.
