Virender Sehwag is a former India cricketer, who represented India from 1999 to 2013. The former cricketer was one of the gems, whose skills as an opener helped India to win numerous matches. Sehwag's contribution to India's cricket team is unmatchable. Well, after shining like a star throughout his time, Sehwag retired from all forms of International cricket on October 20, 2015. Currently, Sehwag is serving as a member of the Anti-Doping Appeal Panel of the National Anti-Doping Agency. In his personal life, the cricketer got married to someone with whom he met at the mere age of 7. Virender Sehwag's wife, Aarti Ahlawat hails from New Delhi, and she was born on December 16, 1980. While Aarti's mom's name is not known yet, her father, Suraj Singh Ahlawat had been an advocate by profession. Talking about Aarti Ahlawat's education, her schooling was at Lady Iwrin Secondary School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Aarti had done her diploma in Computer Science from Maitreyi College, Delhi University.
Talking about her profession, as per reports, Aarti Sehwag is the director of four companies. She is one of the directors of a private company, Eventura Creations Private Limited. Apart from that, she is also a director of AVS Healthcare Private Limited, ASV Event Management Private Limited, and Smgk Agro Impex Private Limited. It was back in 2019, when Aarti's business partners scammed her. Reportedly, her partners influenced a company by using her husband and the cricketer's name, and took a loan of Rs. 4.5 crore from it after forging her signature. Aarti had lodged a complaint against her partners back then as well.
Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Ahlawat were meant to be together, and it was during their childhood when they met. Virender was only 7 years old, and Aarti was 5 years old when they first met at a wedding ceremony in their families. Virender's cousin got married to Aarti's aunt, and that's when the couple met each other, and little did they know that they would end up being life partners. Over the years, the couple remained friends, and they formed a mutual bond of love and affection towards each other. After turning 21 and knowing Aarti for 14 years, the cricketer popped the question to his lady love. Well, Aarti gave her consent, but their family was a bit skeptical, given them being distant relatives.
As time passed, the couple's family decided to give in by witnessing their seriousness towards each other. It was back in 2004, when Virender and Aarti got married at former Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley’s bungalow. The duo hopped onto the parenthood journey in 2007 with the arrival of their son, Aryavir. In 2010, they yet again became parents with the arrival of their youngest son, Vedant.
