Ever since the advent of Nach Baliye, we had only seen goody-goody things and fairytale love stories of our favourite celebrities. But this season, Nach Baliye has come up with a twist! Nach Baliye season 9 not only invited couples but we get to see ex-flames too grooving together.
One amongst the most controversial ex-couple is Chandrakanta co-stars-turned-lovers-turned-exes, Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli. Every now and then, we get to hear about conflicts and clashes between the two during the rehearsals. And of late, there was a leaked video that had Madhurima and Vishal fighting and shouting at each other, and that’s when the former slapped the latter. In a brief chat with BollywoodLife, Vishal opened up about the slapgate and said, "I don't know who leaked it and why, and I don't even want to know. There is nothing for me to say about it, jo hai woh dikh raha hai video mein. I don't want to add anything to it, because every personal comment added, subtracts my efforts that I am putting in day and night on dancing. Baat karne se baat aur aage badhegi, and I want the dance to be the focus and not any personal talks. That's why in the last two weeks I haven't spoken to anyone or given any interview."
Further sharing that the personal journey with Madhurima is over, he remarked, "The personal journey is over, let's just focus on the dance journey which is still on. If for the heck of TRP and headlines you all want to see us together, then absolutely get us together but speak about dance, our dance journey, the long hours of practice, our efforts that we put in to give our 100% in our performance despite the personal equation, the injuries we have suffered, how even the smallest nakhra or mudra is practiced until perfection, how we are professional and dedicated towards our work. So, it's a simple thing, I don't mind doing an interview with her or anything, but let the focus be dance, uss par bhi bahut kuch hai baat karne ke liye." In fact, when sometime back, Vishal was asked about the one reason for their difference, pat had come his reply, “She (Madhurima) has a very bad temper. I was in love with her. I am not in love with her now. So, I will handle situations accordingly to create flow.”
Earlier, in a media interaction when Vishal was asked as to how he would draw a line as he would be performing with his ex, he had replied, “I have made it clear that I won't give them [the makers] fodder by indulging in behind-the-scenes drama. I would prefer it if they didn't know about our fights. I am not hungry for publicity. I don't believe in creating fake fights and getting votes. I don't want to disrespect her either. Further sharing if rehearsals are tough for them keeping in mind the acrimony after breakups, Vishal had continued, “Break-ups often lead to fights. So, whenever we meet and if the topic [of the relationship] arises, we end up fighting. But at the end of the day, we are both participating to win. It's not going to be easy.”
Once revealing the real reason behind their breakup, Vishal had quipped, “(Long pause) She was not right for me. When someone starts belittling you, it becomes difficult to live with them. I am desi, and she had a problem with that. I don't converse much in English, I choose to talk in Hindi. We belong to different schools of thought.
