Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi are one of the much-loved couples in the Television industry. The duo first met on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and the rest is history. The duo got married in 2016, and since then, they have been shelling out major couple goals out there. Well, it was since the last few days, that several clickbait videos with the false claims of the couple's divorce have been making rounds on the internet, and Vivek recently reacted to the same. Now, the actor talked about the baseless allegations against him.
Vivek Dahiya recently gave an interview on Zoom, wherein he was asked about his divorce buzz with Divyanka Tripathi. Reacting to the same, Vivek stated that he and Divyanka decided to let people think what they think, as it has become funny to them. He added that people make some baseless stories that don't even have any base to them. Vivek Dahiya further reacted to the clickbait videos that alleged him to be spotted with a mystery girl except his wife, Divyanka, at the airport, and questioned what kind of headlines these are. He then sarcastically commented 'wow' on the baseless buzz. In Vivek Dahiya's words:
"Let people think whatever they want. It's become funny now. Kuch bhi made-up kahaani banke aati hai, based on what? Base toh batao uska. Main Divyanka ke alawa kisi aur mahila ke saath airport pe spot hua - is this how you create headlines? Wow! That is so amazing, guys (slow claps). Standing ovation."
In the same interview, Vivek Dahiya asked people not to go for such clickbait clips that deal with false topics to grab attention. He stated how people only want views and money out of their content, which leads them to make such videos. Vivek shared that if people continue to fall for this type of content, then the creators will continue to earn more, and such clickbait content will continue to come. Vivek further shared that the audience has become more cautious now, and they don't fall for the misleading content. Vivek can be quoted as saying:
"I need not say more. These are just clickbaits on YouTube for views. Views aayenge, toh kamayi aayega (If they get views, they will earn). If that happens, more such stories will come out. However, audience has become smart and they've realised that ye bakwaas hai. Don't tap on such things."
Vivek Dahiya has earlier arrived at a Mumbai event, wherein he talked about his divorce buzz with Divyanka Tripathi. He said that both he and his wife had been laughing at this baseless claim with ice cream. He has straightaway dismissed the divorce speculations between them and mentioned that he also has a YouTube, which is why, he is familiar with the concept of clickbait, and how it works. Vivek then clarified that Clickbait content deals with sensational or unreal claims while grabbing people's attention and compelling them to watch or click on it.
Divyanka Tripathi's personal life was already in the spotlight in 2015, owing to her breakup with her ex-beau, Sharad Malhotra. They had been together for seven long years before breaking up in 2015.
