An old video of actor Vivek Oberoi complimenting the Bishnoi community has resurfaced on social media amid the ongoing issue surrounding mobster, Lawrence Bishnoi and Bollywood star, Salman Khan. The footage was taken during an event in February 2023, in Dubai.
The murder of former Maharashtra minister and NCP politician, Baba Siddique, who was believed to be close to Salman Khan, by three attackers in Mumbai has brought attention to Lawrence Bishnoi’s intense hatred for Salman Khan even while he is incarcerated. Amidst this, we can see a viral video in which Vivek praised the Bishnoi community for their unique tradition of feeding orphaned fawns with human milk, a practice he says is unmatched worldwide.

In the viral video, which is currently making the rounds on social media, Vivek Oberoi suggested looking up the Bishnoi community on Google, noting that a scene like that could not be found anywhere else. He mentioned that in every household, including his own, cow milk was fed to children. He added that the Bishnoi community was the only one where, if a fawn’s mother died, Bishnoi mothers would take the fawn in their laps and feed them milk, just as they did with their children. According to him, such a practice was unique to this community. In his words:
"Try looking up the Bishnoi community on Google. You won’t find a scene like that across the world. Every household, including mine, feeds cow’s milk to kids. There’s only one community in the whole world – the Bishnoi community – where if a fawn’s mother dies, the Bishnoi mothers take it in their laps and feed them milk like they feed their kids. You won't find this anywhere else in the world."

The video is becoming more popular because of Vivek’s unfriendly relationship with Salman Khan. During a 2003 news appearance, Vivek accused Salman of threatening him because of his friendship with Aishwarya Rai, who had a tumultuous breakup with Salman.
