Waheeda Rehman and Sunil Dutt were prominent actors in the Indian film industry during the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. They have worked together in several films and are considered one of the most iconic on-screen pairs in Indian cinema. Recently, Waheeda Rehman shared a story about Sunil Dutt's reaction to her sporting white hair.
Waheeda Rehman, who recently appeared on Arbaaz Khan's show, The Invincibles, revealed how her white hair shocked actor, Sunil Dutt, who was ailing in the ICU. She had gone to meet him at that time, and he was shocked to see her. Waheeda also said that she had stopped dyeing her hair long ago.

Talking about the same, Waheeda Rehman recalled that the late actor, Sunil Dutt, was admitted to the hospital after he fell unwell during the padayatra. When she paid a visit to him, the veteran actor was shocked. Talking about the same, Waheeda elaborated:
"I went to meet Sunil Dutt who was in the ICU, and as per the rules only one person could go inside. So I went inside and wished him also asked about his health. But as he looked at me he was in a state of shock. So I asked him what happened. To which he said, 'What have you done?" I thought he was asking why I came in, so told him that I took permission and came. He said, 'I am not talking about that I am speaking about your hair'. Why did you colour your hair white? I replied, 'Sunil I have not coloured it white instead stopped colouring it black' they are actually white."

Earlier, talking to Filmfare, Waheeda Rehman had told how she stopped dyeing her hair. She said that her hair started turning grey very quickly, so she had to touch it up every ten days, which she found exhausting. She further said that she couldn't even think of dyeing her hair when her husband was unwell.

Waheeda Rehman and Sunil Dutt acted together in several films, such as Meri Bhabhi, Ek Phool Char Kaante, Mujhe Jeene Do, and Reshma Aur Shera. Audiences loved their on-screen chemistry, and they were considered one of the most iconic pairs in Indian cinema.
On the personal front, Waheeda Rehman got married to the famous actor, Shashi Rekhi, commonly known by his stage name, Kamaljeet, in April 1974. The couple is blessed with two children, Kashvi Rekhi and Sohail Rekhi. Unfortunately, on November 21, 2000, Kamaljeet died due to a brain haemorrhage.
