Kiara Advani's Bikini Scenes Trimmed In Hrithik Roshan Jr NTR's 'War 2' By CBFC? Here's The Truth

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer, War 2, is all set to release on August 14, 2025. Well, the movie has to pass the litmus test at the box office as it is facing competition against Rajinikanth's Coolie. Kiara Advani starrer War 2 has completed all the censor formalities, but it seems there is no good news for Kiara fans. This is because the Central Board of Film Certification has come out with a new cut of the film.

The Central Board of Film Certification asserts to cut out Kiara Advani's bikini shots?

A report by the Bollywood Hungama stated that the makers of War 2 had approached the CBFC regarding a new cut of the film, with reportedly 10 minutes of edited footage. The censor board recommended cutting 10 minutes of footage and suggested further cuts to the movie before issuing a U/A16+ certificate. The report stated that among the edits that were done, the pool scene that had Kiara in a bikini was cut by the team of War 2. The teaser showcased snippets from the song, Aavan Jaavan, and the behind-the-scenes clip depicted how fit and toned the actress looked.

The CBFC further shared that 9 seconds of the sensual video from War 2 have been asked to be omitted by the CBFC. This could simply mean that the sultry bikini scenes of Kiara with Hrithik have been edited. This sequence has helped the movie gain significant traction on social media. According to reports, Kiara achieved her dream body through a strict diet and mixed workouts, impressing fans with her dedication and hard work.

The makers of War 2 reportedly were forced to mute all the inappropriate references that were made in the six varied audio and visual departments. An obscene dialogue had to be replaced by a better sentence, and an obscene gesture made by a character had to be deleted. The CBFC also instructed the War 2 team to reduce all sensual images by 50 per cent. There were no changes made to the action sequences in the movie, as only major changes were made in the Aavan Jaavan song. For the unversed, the censor certificate revealed that War 2 has a runtime of 179.49 minutes, which literally translates to 2 hours and 59 minutes and 49 seconds. Well, it was on August 8, 2025, when the makers of War 2 had to approach CBFC, and they reportedly cut the movie to 51 minutes and 44 seconds.

Kiara is all set for her next offering, War 2. The film will showcase her first appearance on the screen, also in a bikini. The actress took a lot of protein-rich meals, and her nutritionist, Nicole, in an interview with Pinkvilla, revealed Kiara's meal plan. Nicole shared that Kiara's goal was to be in her best shape as she was going to give her first bikini shot on the big screen. Nicole added:

"She didn't want shortcuts. She wasn't looking for a crash diet or a quick fix. She wanted something sustainable, holistic and something that made her feel strong."
