Katya Silchenko Turns Ukrainian Fashion Week Runway Into Wedding Altar, Gets Married To Beau, Serhiy

Have you ever seen the fashion week turn into a wedding altar? Well, that's the beauty of fashion; it has no bounds, and Ukrainian designer, Katya Silchenko, has proved that when it comes to creativity, there are no limitations to her imagination. The well-known Ukrainian designer turned the Ukrainian Fashion Week runway into a wedding altar for herself as she tied the knot with the love of her life, Serhiy Nekleva. 

The first runway wedding: Katya Silchenko and Serhiy Nekleva get married during Ukrainian Fashion Week

It was in the late hours of September 8, 2025, when Katya Silcenko shared a series of pictures on her Instagram announcing the good news. However, it was the venue the couple chose that took our breath away. While everyone was expecting a glorious fashion catwalk by Katya's brand, The Coat, the designer had different plans. 

Katya transformed the runway into her wedding aisle and walked down it in a gorgeous fusion wedding dress. She walked down the dimly lit runway in a white corset paired with shorts that were adorned with sequins. Instead of a veil, she opted for a cape that added a touch of starry elegance to her look. The hem of the cape was embroidered with a phrase in the Ukrainian language. She completed her look with a flower crown. 

Serhiy Nekleva, on the other hand, was dressed in black formal pants that he matched with a white blazer. A choir stood at the edge of the runway, dressed in purple hooded capes, adding a mysterious charm to the ceremony. The designer's surprise turned the final show of Ukrainian Fashion Week into a real sensation. For the unversed, Serhiy Nekleva is an event manager, and while not much is known about their relationship, their wedding is definitely one for the books. The couple announced this on their Instagram page:

"Let your Monday be my wed…08.09.2025."

This is the designer, Katya Silchenko's second marriage. She was previously married to the businessman, Kamo Baghdasaryan, in 2014. The couple soon after welcomed a gorgeous daughter. However, their marital bliss faded, and in 2020, the couple divorced, as Silchenko herself noted, due to problems that arose during the pandemic. Speculations about Katya's wedding to Serhiy Nekleva had been circulating for a while.

The speculations began after the event manager changed his relationship status on the social media platform Facebook to 'married to Silchenko' in April 2025. The change led fans to wonder if the couple had secretly tied the knot. However, their ceremony on the catwalk set the record straight. The host was Iryna Danylevska, the founder of UFW. Among the guests were MONATIK, Natalia Mohylevska, Iryna Horova, Vira Brezhneva, Masha Efrosinina, Yuriy Horbunov, Katya Osadcha, and other stars.
