The trailer of Wednesday Season 2 is eerie, filled with a lot of twists and turns, as fans had hoped for the same. For the unversed, Jenna Ortega as 'Wednesday Addams' has come back as the deadpan lead actress. She now has a foreseen vision of the death of her bestie, 'Enid Sinclair', played by Ema Myers. 'Wednesday' with her stoic behaviour, has the plan to save her bestie, even if that meant she had to die. The trailer of the highly anticipated series has Jenna playing her hit role as the happy yet disturbing 'Wednesday Addams'.
As seen in the trailer of Wednesday Season 2, the 'Addams' family is shown. It includes 'Morticia' (Catherine Zeta-Jones), 'Gomez' (Luis Guzmán), and 'Pugsley' (Isaac Ordonez), who are leaving 'Wednesday' back at the Nevermore Academy. When 'Morticia' asks 'Wednesday', how does it feel she replies in a cold hearted manner by saying, "Like returning to the scene of the crime". The atmosphere and tone of her shows set the calm before the storm. 'Wednesday' is seen as the saviour after she got the victory in unmasking the devilish 'Hyde' in season 1 of the series.
Jenna further reveals that she knows where the bodies are buried. In the latest season, she is not just seen solving eerie mysteries but is also racing against time to prevent a tragedy that is set to take place. 'Morticia', who plays Jenna a.k.a 'Wednesday's mom, tells her not to repeat the mistakes made earlier.
The trailer clearly showcases mysterious objects that delve deep into the untold secrets of the 'Addams' family. The new cast also includes Steve Buscemi as 'Barry Dot', who is the new principal at Nevermore, and the series also has Lady Gaga, Thandie Newton, Haley Joel Osment, and Christopher Lloyd in roles not heard of. 'Barry' is seen decked in purple and is always filled with a lot of positivity. He calls 'Wednesday' the saviour of Nevermore.
'Wednesday' has seen hope in her mom, who advises her not to repeat things she did earlier. Joanna Lumley plays 'Wednesday's grandmother, whose powers are yet to be revealed. Well, the first part of the series is set to release in two parts. Part 1 will come out on August 6, 2025 and will have four episodes. Part 2 is set to release on September 3, 2025 and will continue from episode 5 to 8. The series will air on Netflix, and Wednesday Season 2 will leave fans with chills and thrills.

The cast and crew of Wednesday Season 2 are globetrotting the roads for the 'Doom Tour', stopping in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia to promote the new season. Jenna recently, in an interview with Tudum, spoke about her character, 'Wednesday' and shared:
“Wednesday Addams is one of the coolest characters of all time, so to have gotten the opportunity to play her once was incredible, and then to be able to slip into the costume and tone again, it’s so much fun."
