Variety recently confirmed the report, citing a spokesperson who revealed that the actress has been dropped after her association with far-right commentator Nick Fuentes. Nick Fuentes appeared in Dasha Nekrasova's podcast, Red Scare, which she co-hosts with Anna Khachiyan. Dasha is a famous American actress who grabbed the attention with her role in HBO's Succession. Well, she has been dropped from Gersh, and for the same reason, she has been hitting the headlines.

It was on October 10, 2025, when Dasha Nekrasova's podcast featured the controversial figure, Nick Fuentes. Nick has been criticised by the conservatives for his controversial remarks. He is 27 years old as of now and is known for leading the 'Groyper' movement, which is an antisemitic and racist movement. It was only a few months ago when The New York Times tagged Fuentes as a 'white nationalist', claiming that his podcast with Tucker Carlson sparked a fight and backlash among conservatives.

Coming back to his podcast with Dasha Nekrasova, the podcast was dropped on YouTube on October 10, 2025. Initially, the video garnered 220,000 views, and it then brought in an additional 69,000, reportedly mainly for a portion of the clip that drew negative responses. In the podcast, Dasha Nekrasova and Nick Fuentes talked on diverse topics, including Charlie Kirk's assassination, 'Groyper Army', vaccine discourse, Nick's burgeoning influence, immigration issues, and Kanye West’s public statements, among others.

In one of the segments of the podcast, which grabbed a whole lot of attention lately and sparked backlash, Nekarsova, Fuentes, and Khachiyan repeatedly talked about 'International Jewry' and even promoted harmful stereotypes about Jewish, Italians, Asians, among other groups, in the ways of racism. Not only this, they also talked about immigrants from developing countries, and such comments sparked a heated conversation, leading Gersh to take the step of firing Dasha Nekrasova.

Who is Dasha Nekrasova?

Dasha Nekrasova was born in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union, and later shifted her base to the US. She graduated from high school in 2008 at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. She graduated from college in 2012, and she once revealed that her studies in 19th-century German philosophy influenced her politically. She debuted with a feature film, Wobble Palace, which she co-wrote. She has been a part of The Softness Of Bodies, Materialists and Succession. It was in 2018 when she launched her podcast, Red Scare with Anna Khachiyan.

Dasha also made her directorial debut in 2021 with the horror-thriller, The Scary of Sixty-First. Well, she often grabbed the attention with her controversial remarks. It was in 2023, while talking to The New York Times, Dasha said that 'Francis is not the real Pope, we all know it', which also ended up being controversial. As Gersh cut her off, she was also dropped from her upcoming project, Iconoclast. In her personal life, she was engaged to Adam Friedland, and the duo later called it off. Dasha married visual artist Reilly Sinanan in May 2025.
