'Aan Paavam Pollathathu' OTT Release, When And Where To Watch Tamil Rom-Com Film Of Rio Raj

Aan Paavam Pollathathu is a recently released Tamil film, starring Rio Raj and Malavika Manoj in lead roles. For the unversed, the film was released in theatres on October 31, 2025, and it beautifully mixed light hearted comedy with relatable relationship drama. Plotline of Aan Paavam Pollathathu

Aan Paavam Pollathathu follows the story of 'Siva' (Rio Raj), who is an IT professional and 'Shakthi' (Malavika Manoj), his wife. The film begins with showing their marriage with love, values and equal partnership. In short, it is an ideal relationship in the beginning. However, within a few months, the couple start facing issues and small arguments turn into major disagreements. Gradually, after 400 days of their marriage, 'Siva' files for divorce. 

As the film moves forward, it explores misunderstanding and miscommunication between the couple. However, the film takes a different turn, when 'Siva' gets to know that his wife, 'Shakthi' has already taken legal action. Later, the film takes a dramatic and hilarious turn, when both the lawyers turn out to be an ex-couple. After multiple court sessions, the couple decides if they want to stay together or part ways, towards the end of the film.

The 2025 Tamil film, Aan Paavam Pollathathu, marks the directorial debut of Kalaiarasan Thangavel. Apart from Rio Raj and Malavika Manoj in lead roles, the film also stars RJ Vigneshkanth, Sheela Rajkumar, Jenson Dhivakar, A. Venkatesh and more, who add layers to the film. Reportedly, the film that was made on a budget of Rs. 5 crore, ended up earning approximately Rs. 38 crore. After its release, while the film received positive response, some also felt that the second half loses momentum.

Rio Raj was reportedly born on February 17, 1989, in Tamil Nadu. He began his career as a video jockey. He worked with channels such as Sun Music and later appeared as an actor. Later, he entered Tamil cinema and has been active since 2011. After gaining success with television, he made his film debut with Sathriyan and later appeared in films like Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja, Joe, Sweetheart! and more. Reportedly, he also appeared in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4. In his personal life, the actor tied the knot with Shruthi Ravi in 2017. And the couple reportedly has a child as well.
