Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone is currently one of the most sought-after stars in the Hindi film industry. On the personal front, Deepika Padukone tied the knot with Ranveer Singh on November 14, 2018, after a few years of dating. Deepika Padukone made an appearance on the first episode of the popular talk show, Koffee With Karan season 6, with Alia Bhatt. During the rapid-fire round, the host, Karan Johar, asked Deepika to choose one option between babies and movies. Responding to it, Deepika said both and added:
"Babies while doing movies."
If the ongoing reports are to be believed, Deepika Padukone might not resume work anytime soon. Earlier, a report in Times Now stated that Deepika rejected the third season of The White Lotus as she wants to be a 'hands-on' mom to her baby-to-be. The actress won't be returning to work anytime soon and will focus her time on nurturing her baby. The report also mentioned that Deepika would not hire any nannies for her child and wouldn't even let Ranveer share the parental chores as she wants to do everything on her own.
On February 29, 2024, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their respective IG handles and shared a collaborative post to announce their 'good news'. The couple left their entire fanbase in a meltdown as they revealed that they were going to be parents soon. The photo featured cute drawings of baby stuff, including a bib, shoes, hat, button, and clothes. Atop the picture, the couple penned a note and revealed that their baby will arrive in September 2024.
