Shoaib Malik is all over the news these days after he announced his third marriage to Pakistani actress, Sana Javed just a few days ago. The sudden announcement has enraged people across the border, and both Indians and Pakistanis are furious that Malik has tied the knot without even publicly acknowledging that he divorced the Indian tennis legend, Sania Mirza.
For those who don't know, Shoaib first got married to Aisha (Maha) Siddiqui in 2002 and divorced her just days before getting married to Sania in 2010. Shoaib and Sania welcomed their baby boy, Izhaan, in 2018, and reports of a rift between the two started making rounds in the media in 2020. Unfortunately, Sania and Shoaib reportedly parted ways in 2023.

Since Shoaib posted about his recent marriage with Sana Javed on social media, various old clips of the Pakistani cricketer have gone viral on the internet. Various pages have uploaded previous interviews and chats of the former couple, Shoaib and Sania, which hinted that they were facing some trouble in their paradise. One such video caught our attention, where Malik was seen with the former Pakistani cricketers, Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-Haq. In the video, Misbah was seen taking a jibe at Malik for his distressed relationship with his family.
The video is a behind-the-scenes clip from sets of the Pakistan cricket discussion show, The Pavilion. The anchor of the show, who is not visible in the video, questioned why Misbah was so happy. To this, Wasim Akram commented that Misbah is a morning person; hence, he is happy. The host then turned towards Shoaib and asked about his opinion on the matter. Shoaib said, “Why is he happy? Because he is away from his family.” However, Malik’s joke did not go well with the former Pakistani cricketer, and Misbah in response said:
“Acha insaan ko jo masle khud hotey hai na, samjhta hai har bande ko wohi masle hai.”

The video, which was uploaded by an Instagram page, has garnered over 1.9 million views, and netizens have taken to the comment section of the video post to share their two cents on it. One user said, “Loved Misbah how he shut shoaib misogynist joke.” Another one commented, “Aulad aur bivi se door rehna if makes you happy, maybe, you don't need to have a family.” A third comment can be read as “Misbah bhai that's soo rude. Do it again.”
