Tom Holland and Zendaya are one of the cutest couples in Hollywood. The young love birds first met on the sets of MCU’s Spider-Man in 2016. Although the duo has managed to keep much of their relationship from the prying eyes of the media and public, there are still some moments that came into the limelight and have impressed their fans.
In a podcast, the 27-year-old actor, Tom Holland talked about his relationship with Zendaya and how privacy has helped the duo keep their bond strong. Tom appeared on the Jay Shetty Podcast on July 10, 2023, where he mentioned that he and Zendaya feel that keeping their relationship private is the healthiest way to move on as a couple. He said:
“My relationship is the thing that I keep most sacred. I don't talk about it, I try my best to keep it as private as possible. We both feel very strongly that is the healthiest way for us to move on as a couple, um, so I do try to keep as removed from it (Hollywood) as possible."

Tom Holland further went on to say that he tries not to be at award shows or on any red carpets, where there is no connection between him and that particular show or premiere. Tom Holland further said:
“You'll never see me at an award show that I don't have to be at. I'm never going to a red-carpet event that I'm not in the film of. You know I don't want the attention when I don't need it.”
Even though the duo managed to keep their relationship private but, that definitely does not mean that they could not talk about how madly they are in love with each other. Before the podcast with Jay Shetty was released, Tom appeared on the SmartLess podcast, where he just could not stop gushing over the love of his life, Zendaya. He said:
“I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life. It's interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you. You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff. And that's worth its weight in gold.”

For the unversed, Tom Holland and Zendaya were rumoured to be in a relationship since their first movie together, Spider-Man: Homecoming, back in 2016. Despite never confirming anything, speculation continued to circulate. However, in 2021, they were seen kissing at a red light in Los Angeles and later made their first public appearance as a couple on the red carpet in November of that year.
The couple was recently spotted together at a Beyonce concert, where they seemed much in love, passionately singing along with Queen Bey's hit song, Love on Top. Tom Holland and Zendaya also visited India in March 2023 to attend the opening ceremony of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai.
In the podcast with Jay Shetty, the Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland, said he is taking a break from acting and wants to enjoy his time with family and friends. He said:
“I've been working so much, I just wanted to take a break. I just wanted to be in one place for a while I wanted to be with my friends be with my family move into my house. Oh my God I need to have a break from acting because it's too much I just needed to have a break from travelling and working.”
