Where Is D4vd Now? Know All About The Possibility Of His Arrest In 14-Year-Old Celeste Rivas' Death

It has been more than a month since 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez's body was found in the trunk of a Tesla registered under rising singer, David Anthony Burke a.k.a D4vd. However, despite the case being under investigation, several questions continue to linger. How did Celeste end up in the singer's car? Was anybody responsible for hiding her remains? Did D4vd know Celeste Rivas? Why is he not arrested, and why are many others not? As the mystery deepens, everyone is wondering: D4vd now? Well, we have some updates.

Where is D4vd, and what is the possibility of his arrest? 

Celeste Rivas' remains were found on September 8, 2025, after staff at a Hollywood Hills towing yard reported a found odour coming from an abandoned Tesla. The vehicle was found registered under D4vd, and it was not reported stolen. Later, it was discovered that the car had been towed away from the singer's residence. According to The Mirror US, legal expert Chad Cummings explained that authorities are 'playing the long game' and reviewing all the possible surveillance footage taken from D4vd's Hollywood Hills residence. 

Further, he noted that the cause of Celeste Rivas' death is not yet officially confirmed. So, investigators will most likely examine the time-stamped and motion-activated footage to map out to determine the possible activity at the property. As of now, D4vd is not an official suspect, and according to TMZ, the Here With Me singer recently transferred the deeds to two Houston-area homes to his mother shortly after the discovery of Celeste's remains. Some sources revealed that D4vd has since kept a low profile, and his exact whereabouts remain unclear.

Did Celeste Rivas's demise impact D4vd's work? 

D4vd's spokesperson recently told NBC 4 that D4vd is fully cooperating with authorities amid the ongoing investigation into Celeste Rivas's death. He was in the middle of a world tour when Celeste's body was found, and he immediately cancelled all his shows following the incident. At the same time, D4vd's European tour, scheduled for early October 2025, was also called off. At the same time, his Ticketmaster listings for the concerts show a 'cancelled' status. Several major music partners of D4vd, including Universal Music Group, Sony Music Publishing, and Wasserman, paused all promotional activity connected to him until further developments in the case.

Has D4vd made an official statement on Celeste Rivas' demise? 

Despite the growing mysteries around Celeste Rivas' case, D4vd has made no public statement regarding the incident. He shared his last Instagram post on September 8, 2025, the same day that Celeste Rivas' body was found. He shared the post to promote the deluxe edition of his album Withered: Marcescence. The tragedy took an even darker turn after a previously unreleased song titled "Celeste" surfaced online. The case first rose to fame after Celeste's mother identified her body from the abandoned car. The 14-year-old had been missing since 2024 and was discovered a day after her 15th birthday. Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported, police continue to await final autopsy reports.
