Who is Chikki Panday?

Ahaan Panday’s father, Chikki Panday, is also known as Aloke Sharad Panday. He is a businessman and also holds a position on the Steel Consumers Council, which operates under the Government of India. Not just this, Chikki also serves on the Telephone Advisory Committee within the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. Apart from this, Chikki is the founder of a charitable organisation, Akshara Foundation of Arts & Learning.

Chikki Panday bailed out Shah Rukh Khan

Not many people know this, but Shah Rukh Khan is one of Chikki Panday's close buddies. When the actor came to Mumbai and was struggling in his initial days, he lived in Chikki’s home. Colonel Kapoor, who launched Shah Rukh with his debut serial, Fauji, was Chikki and Chunky’s uncle, and through him, SRK got to know the brothers.

When Shah Rukh Khan was jailed for threatening a journalist, it was Chikki who bailed him out. He also helped Shah Rukh during Aryan Khan's drug case. Shah Rukh Khan has immense trust in Chikki, and he is the only person who has access to Mannat 24/7.

Chikki Panday is the man behind Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s patch-up

Just like Shah Rukh, Chikki Panday also shares a close bond with Salman Khan. Salman often promotes Chikki’s wife, Deanne Panday’s work, and the couple is welcomed at all the events at Salman’s house. In fact, Chikki is the man who orchestrated the patch-up between Salman and Shah Rukh.

According to multiple reports, Chikki is responsible for Salman and Shah Rukh’s reunion at late Baba Siddique’s 2013 Iftar party. Following the fallout between the two Khans in 2008, Chikki planned to bring the two superstars together at politician Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party in 2013, aiming to prompt a reconciliation. According to multiple reports, Chikki had convinced Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan even before they arrived at the party.

Ahaan’s uncle is none other than Chunky Panday, the veteran actor best known for his iconic comic role as ‘Aakhri Pasta’ in the Housefull franchise. Once, Chunky spoke about Chikki Panday’s close bond with Shah Rukh and said:

“I think one of his first friends in Bombay when he arrived was my younger brother Chikki. They’re still the best of friends. So, at that time, they (Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan) were renting a place and they used to come to meet my brother, sab baith ke video cassettes dekhte the. So he and Gauri were in my house quite often.”

Chikki Panday's wife, Deanne, is a popular wellness expert, lifestyle coach, and author. She is a prominent figure in the fitness industry, particularly among celebrities.
