Amaya Espinal is a 25-year-old New Yorker who has been making headlines with her grand arrival at Season 7 of Love Island USA. She comes from a mix of Dominican and German descent. The young contestant is a registered nurse with a passion for social media and wants to establish herself as a content creator. Nonetheless, it seems like Amaya won't be having any issues garnering a solid fanbase, as she is loved by the audience for the edge she brings to the show. 

Amaya Espinal's entry into the Love Island Villa

Amaya Espinal entered the well-known Love Island villa on Day 5 of the show alongside, Hannah Fields. And it's safe to say that she stirred the pot since the second she stepped foot in the dramatic dating reality show. For the unversed, it was her shared lip-lock with Jeremiah Brown during a challenge, that sparked tension in the villa. Amaya came at odds with the beautiful, Huda Mustafa, who had been developing a connection with Jeremiah.

Regardless of her initial disruption, Amaya Espinal decided to couple up with Ace Greene, a dancer and content creator. However, as the season progressed, Amaya began to question the depth of their connection, expressing doubts about their relationship. Nonetheless, it's safe to say her gorgeous looks and witty persona have the audience hooked. 

Amaya Espinal's mixed ethnicity garners attention

Amaya Espinal is of Dominican and German descent. According to a TikTok, the young influencer shared in 2023 from her trip to the Netherlands, she had captioned her clip from the night out as "Just a Dominican girl and German girl in Amsterdam." However, if Ancestry.org is to be believed, Amaya's surname, 'Espinal', has Spanish and Catalan origins. Nonetheless, there are several public figures in the Dominican Republic with the same last name as Amaya. Some of them include MLB player, Santiago Espinal and politician, Flavio Dario Espinal.

Amaya Espinal's personal life and social media presence 

Talking about Amaya Espinal's life outside the Love Island villa, she has garnered ample attention for her vibrant social media presence. She recently shared stunning photos from a getaway in Turks and Caicos, where she was seen glowing in a baby blue bikini at the Ritz-Carlton recently. The young influencer currently has 50k followers on her Instagram handle and often shares snippets from her life with her followers on the same.
