Columbian singer and songwriter, Beele and his ex-girlfriend, Isabella Ladera, have recently grabbed a lot of headlines. The Venezuelan influencer and model took to her social media account and, in a lengthy post, expressed how disheartened she was after a private video of her and her former boyfriend, Beele, was leaked. Isabella also indirectly alleged that her ex was the one who had circulated the video. Amid this controversy, here's everything to know about Beele and his past relationship with Isabella.
Beele was born as Brandon de Jesus Lopez Orozco in Barranquilla, Colombia. However, he grew up in Venezuela and began writing songs after reportedly discovering the song 'Aye' by Davido, an American singer of Nigerian descent. Beele once revealed that he grew up surrounded by African music from the '80s and '90s, and at the age of 12, when he heard Davido's single, he felt a connection to Afrobeats. In an interview with Billboard, he revealed:
"I felt the vibe and started writing notes and poems... It was my way of disconnecting from the world. I preferred doing that and practicing my guitar to going out and playing with my friends."
Beele began his career at the age of 16, when he launched the song 'Loco' under the Hear The Music label. The song received widespread popularity in several countries and was also remixed by other artists. The singer then went on to release more singles and finally made his debut album, Borondo, in 2024. Recently, he has released another song called 'La Plena'.
In the same interview, Beele further talked about the culture he grew up around and said that in his family, he was surrounded by the culture of 'salsa, champeta (a type of dance), and African music from the 80s and 90s.' The budding singer stated that the pride of where he comes from is reflected in his true personality. Talking about his upbringing, Beele shared:
"I grew up in a family where salsa, champeta, and African music from the 80s and 90s were heavily influenced... I grew up surrounded by that culture and by a working-class neighborhood in Barranquilla, where I found my place over time. I understood that everything that made me proud of where I come from and the freedom to express myself perfectly reflects my personality and who I truly am."

Beele also expressed his connection to music, stating that it is an integral part of his everyday life. The singer labelled his music as art and stated that he expresses himself through it. The singer was quoted as saying:
"My encounter with music has always been unexpected... For me, music is a connection to my everyday life. I've had to live the way I live to be able to make the songs I'm making. I express myself. My heart speaks, my emotions speak, and they connect with the audience. I don't just make music, I make art."
Isabella Ladera had confirmed her split from her then-boyfriend, Beele, in an Instagram post in July 2024. However, the former couple's relationship still hogged the limelight. Then, in April 2025, the two followed each other on Instagram again. There were also speculations that Isabella and Beele had reunited. However, a shocking video of the two circulated online on September 7, 2025. Featuring Isabella and Beele, many people thought that the video was recent. But, Isabella took to her Instagram handle and expressed how aghast she was that such a private moment had been leaked and penned:
"I am profoundly devastated. An intimate and private moment was leaked without my consent, an act that is one of the cruelest betrayals I've lived... That video was only in the hands of two people: the other person and me."
Though Isabella did not name Beele in the post directly, through her words, she alleged that the singer might have had a hand in leaking the video, which she says was with only two people, her and her ex-boyfriend. Isabella also refused to back down in the face of the controversy and said that the 'person who betrayed' should be the one to be ashamed. The influencer wrote:
"I am not the first, nor the only one. I am not the one to be ashamed in this story... The shame falls on the person who betrayed. I am here, standing tall, and with my head held high. For me. For my family. And for all the women who have been victims of a narcissist... My value is not defined by a video, nor the cruelty of others... My story does not end here."
