He was the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA who was fatally shot during a speaking event in Utah. Who is Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika Frantzve?

Erika Frantzve is now left to pick up the pieces after the sudden tragedy. She is a former Miss Arizona USA (2012), an entrepreneur, and a devoted Christian. Erika married Charlie in May 2021. Together, they built a life rooted in faith and family. She is widely known for her spiritual initiatives, including her Biblein365 program, the Midweek Rise Up podcast, and her Spirit Check newsletter. All her ventures are aimed at inspiring people to live with purpose and biblical values. Apart from her public work, she often shared personal glimpses into her life on Instagram, where she documented her journey as a wife to Charlie and mother to their two toddlers.

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in August 2022. Two years later, in May 2024, they were blessed with a baby boy. What happened to Charlie Kirk? 

It all happened on the afternoon of September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University, where Charlie was hosting a live Q&A session. It was a part of his 'American Comeback' tour. Out of the blue, witnesses heard a single gunshot, fired from a nearby building. The bullet immediately struck Charlie, who was rushed for immediate medical attention. But shortly, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The suspect, who is being described as an elderly man, was detained at the scene, but released after interrogation. FBI has since taken over the investigation and they are searching for the culprit. Former President Donald Trump, a longtime ally of Charlie, reacted on Truth Social, writing:

"We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!" Vice President J.D. Vance also expressed his heartbreak, saying, "Dear God, protect Charlie in his darkest hour."

Who was Charlie Kirk? 

Charlie Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA at the age of 18, which grew into one of the most powerful conservative youth organisations in the country. He was known for his outspoken defence of free speech and conservative values on college campuses. Over time, Charlie became a prominent figure in right-wing politics.
