Cam Skattebo and Chloe Rodriguez met in 2020 at California State University, Sacramento. At that time, he was a star player for the Hornets football team, and she was one of the squad's cheerleaders. A major tragedy struck Cam Skattebo on October 26, 2025, during the Giants vs. Eagles game. Cam suffered a major right ankle dislocation after getting tangled with an opposing player as he tried to catch a pass. According to ESPN, he was immediately carted off the field and taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, as reported by ESPN. The situation soon turned emotional as several teammates and Eagles players looked visibly shaken. Rookie quarterback, Jaxson Dart, a close friend of Skattebo, was seen shouting in frustration at the sight. Cam was immediately ruled out of the game and may be considered for the next games scheduled for this season.
