Pan Masala baron, Kamal Kishor Chaurasia's daughter-in-law, Deepti Chaurasia, allegedly died by suicide at their family home located in South Delhi's Vasant Vihar posh locality. For the unversed, Deepti's father-in-law, Kamal, has been the man behind Kamla Pasand and Rajshree Pan Masala brands. Deepti's unforeseen demise has shocked the entire business and the industrial community, as she was the bahu of a very big masala baron.

Deepti Chaurasia's suicide has gained attention in the nation's wealthiest and private families. According to a report by NDTV, Deepti took her life on November 25, 2025, at the posh family house with the help of a dupatta. Deepti had left behind a suicide note where she claimed that she did not blame anyone. The sad note read, "If there is no love and trust in a relationship, what is the point of life?" A detailed investigation is going on into the same matter, and the report by the publication claimed that cops are thinking that the family pushed Deepti to the edge.

Deepti Chaurasia took her life at the age of 40 and was married to Arpit

Pan masala baron, Kamal Kishor's corporate dynasty has been huge. She was married to Harpeet, also known as Arpit Chaurasia, back in 2010. The couple has been blessed with a 14-year-old son, and Deepti's sasur, Kamal, is the grand owner of the Kamala Pasand Pan Masala brand. For the unversed, he has created a household name in the tobacco and pan masala sector, which is also in the Indian market.

Deepti Chaurasia was known to be a soft spoken person

BollywoodShaadis could not find any social media handles of Deepti Chaurasia. However, according to a report by the Gulf News, she was known to be a soft-spoken and also a private person in her real life. She had also left behind a personal diary before she took her life.

Deepti Chaurasia's brother claims her husband had affairs, used to beat her with the mother-in-law

Deepti Chaurasia's bereaved brother, in an interview with ANI, shared that they had taken Deepti to Calcutta. Her in-laws coaxed her to come back and promised to treat her like a daughter. Deepti's brother alleged that her husband and mother-in-law used to beat her. In his words:

"Humlogo ko baadmei pata chala, behen ko wapas leke aagaye thei Calcutta mei. Enke gharwalo ne haath jodkar bola ki beti banake le jare hai, esko sahi salamat rakhenge. Uska case chala, hum ghar pe ladte rahe, humko dabate rahe behen ko leke chale gaye. Bahut marte thei uski mother. Phir lekar aaye kuch saal theek rahe."

Deepti Chaurasia's brother claims she was abused, and her husband has an illegal daughter

Deepti Chaurasia's brother further alleged that his sister was given an illegal divorce, and her husband, Harmanpreet, has an illegal daughter called Gauri Chaurasia in Mumbai. He also claimed that her husband had illegal affairs. Deepti's brother shared that he does not know whether she was killed or died by suicide, but the stress she underwent gave her father a brain and heart stroke. He shared:

"Woh log illegal divorce dilwaye, ek beti bhi hai, illegal beti bhi hai Gauri Chaurasia Mumbai mei. Phir uske baad uska illegal affairs shuru hua. Papa ko heart, brain stroke hua and phir se kar raha hai. Phir se ghar pe le aaye. Meri sister ki mother in law leke gayi, behen ka phone aaya torture kar raha hai, phir affair hoh gaya. Phir abusement behen khatam hoh gayi. Maar di, suicide kar li kuch nai pata."

Deepti Chaurasia's last conversation with her brother was about the admission of her nephew

Deepti Chaurasia's brother, in the interview with ANI, claimed that she was tortured when she was pregnant, during her delivery too. He also stated that a few days ago, the last conversation he had with his sister was related to the admission she wanted to do for her bhanja (nephew). Deepti's bereaved brother stated:

"Ek doh din pehle baat hui thi. Usnne bola tha beta ka form bharna hai, school mei admission karana hai. Tum aajana gharpe. Pata chala tha jab woh pregnant thi, delivery hoke pehla beta hua uss samay pata chala. Ensaaf chahiye. Bola gaya khatam hoh gayi. She asked me bhanja ka admission dilwana hai Shri Ram school mei tum aajao. Aaj time nai hai kal aajaenge."

Deepti Chaurasia's family lawyer refuted strong claims made by her brother

Deepti Chaurasia's family has stated that whatever took place was unfortunate and that both families have decided that the cremation will be done together, as they wanted to give full respect to her. The released statement revealed that it has been a huge loss for both the family and that false allegations have been pressed on Deepti's husband. The advocate noted that no one in particular was named or held responsible in the note.
