The actor has now announced that he is engaged to photographer and creative director Erica Firestone, making them the newest couple in town to win hearts with their love story. 

Who is Billy Magnussen's fiancée, Erica Firestone? 

Erica is a talented photographer and creative director. She has made a name for herself with her artistic work. Although Erica stays away from the spotlight in comparison to Billy, her Instagram handle reveals that she has a liking for photography, travel, and storytelling through visuals. She reportedly met Billy through mutual friends. Although the exact timeline of their relationship remains a mystery, she first made their bond Instagram-official in October 2024. During that month, the couple made their debut and attended the Los Angeles premiere of Billy's HBO series, The Franchise. Since then, they have been clicked on vacations, events, and outings. 

Billy Magnussen and Erica Firestone's love story reached a new milestone in 2025. During one of their outings at a beach, Billy pulled out a ring and surprised Erica with a romantic proposal in Sardinia, Italy. The 40-year-old actor popped the question during a beach getaway and cleverly planned the moment so a drone would capture it.

Billy Magnussen popped the question to Erica Firestone with a sparkling diamond ring 

Billy Magnussen shared a video on his Instagram where he distracted Erica by handing her the drone controls before getting down on one knee on the sand with a sparkling diamond ring. The emotional moment ended with the couple sharing a hug and sealing the proposal with a kiss as the waves rolled in behind them. Erica even revealed on her Instagram Stories that their hotel in Sardinia surprised them with wine and a handwritten note dated September 12 to celebrate the moment. Erica proudly showed off her ring in selfies and clips shared on social media by writing:

"Anywhere, just as long as you're by my side, fidanzati."
