Don Mattingly's success is widely recognized. But behind his high-profile baseball career is his wife, Lori Mattingly. The couple had tied the knot back in 2010. According to Fabwags,  Lori was reportedly born as Lory Lynn McClarney in February 1971 in Evansville, Indiana. Although she has largely stayed out of the public spotlight, Lori has acted like an anchor in Don's life since they first met in 2008. According to Don, they met casually when he was watching a Dodgers game at a restaurant in the 2008 MLB season.

Furthermore, the couple's relationship developed rapidly, and they tied the knot on December 10, 2010, in Evansville. Later, they welcomed a son, Louis Riley Mattingly, in November 2014. Meanwhile, Lori herself has two sons, Reynolds and Isaac Manion, from her previous marriage. During the 14 years playing, he was a part of the New York Yankees and earned the AL MVP award in 1985. As a manager, he led the Dodgers and the Miami Marlins to win the Manager of the Year awards. He served as the coach for the Toronto Blue Jays, where he led them to their first World Series appearance in the previous season. Now, with the Philadelphia Phillies, he will work closely with manager Rob Thomson and notably alongside his son, Preston, in the front office, making his return to the Phillies both professional and deeply personal as he continues to chase a World Series ring.
