Taylor used to play baseball during his school years. According to ESPN, Taylor was friends with NFL star, Rob Gronkowski. 

After his schooling, Taylor attended State University of New York at Fredonia. He continued playing baseball and was a part of multiple organisation like Accounting Society, Business Club, and Financial Management Association. After passing out in 2011, Taylor went on to earn an MBA degree.

After completing his studies, Taylor Gahagen joined Pegula Sports and Entertainment, a company owned by Jessica Pegula’s parents, Terry and Kim Pegula. Reportedly, the company owns franchises like NFL’s Buffalo Bills, the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and Black River Entertainment. Throughout his time, Taylor held multiple positions. He was even a major part of the marketing of LECOM Harborcenter. 

According to his LinkedIn profile, Taylor eventually became an executive at the company. However, in 2023, Taylor left the company and joined Dragos Capital and Agarwood Wealth. Reportedly, he is working as a managing partner at both the places. In 2016, Taylor gave an interview to WKBW TV, during which he shared his working experience at Pegula Sports and Entertainment. According to Essentially Sports, he was quoted as saying:

"I don’t think there’s anywhere else I would want to work. It’s so exciting. I think everybody’s talked about the opportunity in the area, and the opportunity for Buffalo and the pride of Buffalo is bar none. Raising the profile of Buffalo on a national, international, and global scale is what’s most exciting."

Taylor Gahagen and Jessic Pegula most likely first crossed paths professionally

It is worth mentioning that there is no information regarding the first meet of Taylor Gahagen and Jessica Pegula; however, since the former worked for nearly a decade at Pegula Sports and Entertainment, it is quite possible that the couple first met professionally. 

The duo sparked dating rumours in 2015, when Jessica had shared a photo with Taylor, in which they had attended a costume party. However, she deleted the post later. Currently, one of the first posts of Jessica and Taylor on Instagram is from 2016, when they attended the musical, Hamilton together in New York City. In 2019, the couple made headlines when Jessica was spotted with a ring. Later, Taylor and Jessica were supposed to tie the knot in 2020; however, it got delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. "We were supposed to get married in October last year. We postponed it a year … It’s fine, it worked out!"

Jessica Pegula and Taylor Gahagen tied the knot in October 2021, in an intimate wedding ceremony, which was attended by close friends and family. Reportedly, a few Tennis players were also invited. The couple does not have any children; however they do share immense love for animals, especially dogs. Jessica and Taylor are parents to a dog. For the unversed, Taylor and Jessica co-founded a charity, A Lending Paw, which focuses on rescuing dogs. In an interview with Vogue, Jessica had shared:

"We wanted to help people afford service dogs. Not only is that about dogs helping people, but it’s also about people helping dogs, because we only work with rescues. It goes both ways."
