Rebecca King-Crews, best known as the wife of Terry Crews, is currently going through one of the toughest phases of her life. On April 6, 2026, she revealed on the Today show that she has Parkinson's disease. Apparently, she was diagnosed back in 2015 but has only decided to “come forward now” after she recently underwent a procedure to help manage her symptoms.
For those unaware, Rebecca's revelation comes 6 years after she beat stage 1 breast cancer in 2020 following a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. During the joint interview with her husband, Terry, she gushed about currently “seeing improvement” in her Parkinson's disease symptoms. While fans are praying for her full recovery after her revelation, many have become curious to learn more about Rebecca.

Rebecca was born in Benton Harbour, Michigan. However, she grew up in Gary, Indiana. In 1974, during the Miss Indiana Pageant, she was named Miss Gary. 30 years later, she reflected on the honour, sharing a throwback photo from the event on her Instagram handle. She captioned the post, "Throwback Thursday! Me as Miss Gary 1984 at the Miss Indiana Pageant in Michigan City, IN! On my right, one of the 1st AAF Winners, Teri Shulz!”

Rebecca was born to parents, Samuel Dean King and Anna Mae Parks. She is the elder sister of two younger siblings, Elizabeth Jane and Samuel Taylor. According to a report by People, her father was a musician who passed away in 1972, when she was only 6 years old. In June 2021, Rebecca penned a sweet tribute to him on Father's Day. She wrote:
"Happy Father's Day to my biological father, Samuel Dean King, went to be with the Lord on June 11, 1972, exactly a month or so after this photo was taken on my sister's birthday. That's me on the far left :-) I never knew my father really, my memories of him are sketchy and faint.”

In the caption, Rebecca also revealed that her father used to play the piano when he was alive. In fact, she wrote that she “inherited his love for music and his penchant for playing by ear, rather than by sight.” Notably, she has maintained a close relationship with her mother throughout her upbringing. This was evidenced by her July 2021 post for her mom on her birthday. Praising her throughout, an excerpt from the post can be read as, “My flashback Friday is dedicated to my beautiful mom! Happy birthday, Anna Banana - you are a national treasure. Thank you for all the laughs & all the good times, all the good manners and all the good eating!”

If reports are believed to be true, Rebecca has studied music and theatre while attending Western Michigan University. She received her degree in 1987. Several years later, in 2014, Rebecca released her first single, Can I Stay. Later, she introduced her pseudonym, Regina Madre, in hopes of getting honest feedback on her music. While speaking to Authority Magazine, Rebecca said, “I discovered that I was being judged primarily on my notoriety, rather than on the music, so I decided to go anonymous and create a pseudonym.”

Rebecca and Terry Crews were reportedly college sweethearts. After a few years of dating, the duo tied the knot on July 29, 1989. Rebecca and Terry celebrated 30 years of marriage in 2019 by throwing a lavish party at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, California. Apart from their family, their guest list included famous friends like Chris Daughtry, Olivia Munn, and Stevie Wonder.
Over the many years of their marriage, Rebecca and Terry welcomed four children. This includes their daughters, Azriel, Tera, and Wynfrey, and their son, Isaiah. It is worth noting that Rebecca also has a daughter named Naomi from a previous relationship, whom Terry adopted after they got married.

In 2021, Rebecca launched her eponymous clothing line. Since then, she has dressed a number of celebrities. This includes reality star, Cynthia Bailey, Christina Milian, and Avril Lavigne. Of course, Rebecca has also dressed her husband, Terry. Talking about the ensemble he wore on the finale of America's Got Talent in 2023, Terry told NBC Insider:
"Yes! This is my wife’s line! Rebecca Crews. Shoes, everything. She puts it down. She’s got people all over Hollywood wearing her clothes, including me.”
