Who Was Pakistani Actress, Humaira Asghar Ali? Died At 32, Lived Alone, Body Found In Rotten State

The Pakistani glamour industry is in a state of shock after actress, Humaira Asghar Ali’s body was recovered from her flat. Humaira, who was just 32, was found dead at her residence on July 7, 2025. The incident came as a shock to many, who sought answers for the actress' death under mysterious circumstances.

What was more tragic was that when police found Humaira’s body, it was already in a decomposed state. They believed that the actress had passed away 15 to 20 days back. Humaira gained popularity with the reality show, Tamasha Ghar and was loved for her gorgeous looks. Let's read on to learn more about the actress.

Who was Pakistani actress, Humaira Asghar Ali?

Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Humaira resided in Karachi due to her work commitments. She graduated from the National College of Arts, where she received a formal training in Visual Arts and Performing Arts. Apart from being a model and actress, Humaira is a painter, sculptor, and a self-described fitness enthusiast.

Humaira Asghar Ali gained fame with 'Tamasha Ghar'

Before venturing into modelling, Humaira did various theatre performances and did plays like Heer Ranjha, Zalzalah 7.6. She has done over 110 theatre shows. In 2013, Humaira pursued a career in modelling and walked for top designers. She also promoted international brands such as Porsche, GUESS, and Damas, among others.

Humaira was later seen in TV dramas such as Laali, Benaam, Chal Dil Mere, and Sirat-e-Mustaqueem. However, the actress gained widespread recognition with the 2022 reality show, Tamasha Ghar. In 2015, she made her film debut with Jalaibee and also worked in the film, Love Vaccine in 2021. Humaira was very active on social media, with over 7,13,000 followers.

Humaira Asghar Ali had stopped paying rent

Humaira Asghar Ali had been living alone in a flat in Karachi's Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase-VI for seven years and had stopped paying rent since 2024. As she stopped paying the rent, the landlord moved to court and reached the actress's apartment with local Gizri police to hand over the order. When there was no response after multiple knocks, the police broke open the flat and discovered Humaira's dead body.

Humaira Asghar Ali’s body was in the advanced stage of decomposition

The door of Humaira’s flat was locked from inside, including the balcony door. When the police broke down the door, the actress' body was in a rotten state. As per a report by Dawn, police surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed revealed that Humaira's body was in an advanced stage of decomposition, which makes it clear that the actress had been dead for many days.

On the other hand, DIG Syed Asad Raza also confirmed the report and stated that, despite the actress passing away two weeks ago and being absent from the public eye, no one had paid much attention to it. It was only when a strong odour started coming from her flat that people realised that something was not right.

Humaira’s body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for further medical and legal procedures. Investigation is underway, and the cause of her death can only be ascertained after the postmortem.

Humaira Asghar Ali was a talented actress, and her multifaceted career made her stand out. Her untimely death has raised concerns over the mental health of artists' working in isolation.
