Dancing with the Stars Season 34 has finally reached its end after ten weeks of tears, shock, and hard work. The show bid farewell to the audiences in a grand style on November 25, 2025, where all five finalists, Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Elaine Hendrix, and Jordan Chiles stepped into the ballroom one last time, ready to shine on the dance floor. Just as ABC promised, the night was full of emotions, unpredictability, and history-making performances.
As expected, Robert Irwin and Whitney Carson were crowned as the winners of Dancing with the Stars 2025. They took home the prestigious Mirrorball Trophy after earning the top scores of the evening and winning over America's votes. They not only aced different dance styles, but also won hearts with their emotional journey, sealing their place as one of the most memorable winnerswinners in the history of DWTS.

The finale began with judges assigning a unique dance style to each finalist, who tried different dance forms throughout the show. Alix was stunned with a Samba and earned a perfect 30/30 while Elaine Hendrix matched her energy with a graceful rumba. Even she got a perfect 30/30. Robert Irwin, who performed a sharp, quickstep despite a rib injury, scored 29/30. Next, Jordan Chiles delivered an intense Paso doble and earned 29/30. Meanwhile, Dylan Efron scored 28/30 with his paso doble after he ended up at the bottom of the scoreboard in the semifinals.

The second round tested the adaptability of contestants, who had to learn a new dance style just moments before each performance. Alix again impressed with her cha-cha-cha and earned a perfect score of 30/30. Robert bounced back and tied her score with a lively cha-cha-cha, which pushed him up the leaderboard. Next, Dylan overcame his semi-final dip and scored 30/30 with a foxtrot. On the other hand, Jordan brought her athletic energy to a tango and scored 30/30 as well. However, Elaine Hendrix slipped slightly with her quickstep and got 27/30.

The third and final freestyle round was the emotional showstopper round, where everyone took to the stage one last time. Alix began with Anything Goes, wherein she incorporated multiple dance forms and earned a perfect score for the night,, scoring 90/90 in total. Next, Dylan performed a gorgeous contemporary piece, which received a standing ovation and earned him a a second perfect 30, totaling 88/90. Elaine returned to the dance floor with a freestyle on I Hope I Get It scoring 30/30 with 87/90 in total and Robert Irwin's Black and Gold got him another perfect 30/30, scoring 89/90. Jordan Chiles closed the night with a freestyle on Motivation and performed a floor routine to in gymnastics scoring 30/30 and ended up second on scoreboard with 89/90.

Although ABC has not officially renewed Dancing with the Stars yet, the are high chances for a return with Season 35. After Season 34 received strong ratings, fan engagement, and online support, makers can come back with a new season. If the show officially returns, it may follow a similar pattern, with a premiere in September 2026 on ABC and Disney+. On the other hand, hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, along with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli, are expected to return. The official cast would be typically announced in early September 2026, just weeks before the premiere. Yet, we can expect an official renewal update in the next few months.
