Her last post was a video that showed Mel Owens trying on firefighting gear and meeting with firefighters in Las Vegas with Peg. For the unversed, she was a firefighter and a bomb technician with the City of Las Vegas Fire Department for 22 years. Hence, even after retirement, Peg is very passionate about her former job. Peg Munson has one of the most interesting professional backgrounds among all the contestants of The Golden Bachelor. Initially, her career began with high-stakes, adrenaline-inducing jobs such as firefighter and bomb technician. Apart from that, Peg is also a trained dancer who has worked with the High Rollers, Las Vegas' dance team with over 50 members. She has a daughter named Dakota from her first marriage. However, not much is known about Peg's ex-husband.

Cindy Cullers and Mel Owens have connected over being divorced after many years of marriage and being single parents to their children. Cindy was previously married to someone named Marc Cullers. With him, she has three daughters, Sarah, Emily, and Caroline. Two of her older daughters are married. Regarding her professional background, Cindy is a former biomedical engineer. In the 90s, she worked in medical aesthetic sales but took a hiatus to focus on her family. In 2015, she returned to the workforce as a sales specialist.
