The Voice Season 28 has got its winner! The singer who took home the prestigious title has just been announced, and fans can't keep calm anymore. A fan-favourite frontrunner of the show has claimed the USD 100,000 cash prize and will be enjoying immense fame and exciting perks of triumphing in the American music reality show. The much-awaited second part of the grand finale aired on December 16, 2025, ET, featuring four coach-selected finalists and two wildcard artists voted in by the nation of America. Here's a recap of everything that went down in the finale, in case you missed watching it.
Aiden Ross of team Niall Horan was crowned the winner of The Voice Season 28 during the live finale, held on December 16, 2025. A 20-year-old student from Texas A&M University, Aiden Ross, secured the victory after a series of standout performances that earned him the title. He delivered two solo performances and one holiday-themed duet during the two-night finale. Aiden sang a beautiful rendition of The Winner Takes It All (by ABBA) during Part 1 of the finale, which was noted for its emotional restraint and judicious use of head voice. He also sang Golden Hour (by JVKE), and the performance was praised for its pleasing tone and dynamic range, with coach Niall Horan describing it as "absolutely insane."

For the holiday duet segment in Part 2, Aiden was joined by Season 23 winner, Gina Miles. He was initially set to perform with his coach, Niall; however, that did not materialise due to the former One Direction member's vocal issues. Due to Niall's unavailability, Aiden performed Last Christmas (by Wham!) with Gina. The judges highly praised this act, and the audience seemed to enjoy it thoroughly. It even seemed like a premonition, a previous season's winner was unexpectedly paired with this season's would-be winner.

The winner of The Voice Season 28, Aiden Ross, received an enviable prize package. The 20-year-old pop vocalist from Niall Horan's team received a USD 100,000 monetary reward. He also secured a contract with one of the world's biggest music labels, Universal Music Group. Aiden Ross also lifted the iconic glass microphone trophy during the finale. His victory marked a historic three-peat for coach Niall Horan, who has now won every season he has coached (Seasons 23, 24, and 28).
