Moreover, it's now Alisha Parveen, who was replaced from Anupamaa and for the same, she has been hitting the headlines.
After she was replaced on the show, Alisha Parveen revealed that she was not given any notice for the same. Amid this going on, a report revealed the possible reason for Alisha's replacement on the show. A report by Filmibeat recently shared that there's no controversy around Alisha's replacement, as she was trying her best to do her job, but the makers were not satisfied with her performance in the emotional scenes.
For the unversed, Alisha played the role of 'Raahi' that is, grown-up 'Aadhya' in Anupamaa. As per a close source, this decision was made as it was the best for the show, and ultimately, actors and their characters are both crucial for a show to reach its desired success mark. It's worth mentioning that the officials are yet to react to the same. The source revealed to Filmibeat:
"There's no controversy here. Alisha Parveen was doing her best to portray the character, but the makers weren't entirely satisfied with her performance, particularly in the emotional scenes. They made this decision because they believed it was in the show's best interest. Ultimately, the success of both the characters and the actors is crucial in driving the show's popularity and advancing its storyline effectively."
While makers have not commented on this yet, reports are rife that Adrija Roy may replace Alisha Parveen in Anupamaa as 'Raahi'. Talking about Adrija, she's a famous face of the Telly World. Adrija is a Bengali actress, who rose to fame from the Bengali television industry by making her debut in 2016. She has worked in several Bengali serials such as Bedini Moluar Kotha, Durga Durgeshwari, Potol Kumar Gaanwala, Jai Kali Kalkattawali, Mou Er Bari and Bikram Betal.
The 25-year-old actress, Adrija Roy, who is born and brought up in Kolkata, shifted to Mumbai for better roles. In 2023, she turned to Hindi serials and continued to win hearts with her acting skills. Adrija is best known for her role in the serial, Imlie. Apart from that, she's a social butterfly and has 1 million followers on her IG, through which she often engages with her fans. Well, Adrija is yet to react to the buzz.

After the news of Alisha Parveen's replacement from the show, Anupamaa made rounds on social media, she took to her IG handle and reacted to the same. She, in a note, stated that she is too shocked with the same news, as she doesn't know what happened. Alisha further added that she worked hard for her role in the series and will continue to love the show.
