In the same video, he stated that he would now dedicate himself to the craft of making shoes for American Girl dolls. In the 2-minute-long comic bit, Brennan said:

“You may be thinking to yourself, why Brennan? Why? You deserve to know why. As of today, I have dedicated myself to the craft and profession of making custom shoes for American Girl Dolls.”

The Game Changer team even made a dedicated website, brennansamericangirldollshoes.com, for Brennan’s new profession. Not just this, viewers searching Brennan Lee Mulligan on Google will get to see emojis of shoes and a blue heart along with the message:

The American comedian also expressed his concern about the dissatisfaction with the quality and standard of American Girl doll footwear. He also revealed making a wide range of custom-made shoes like dance shoes, cowboy boots, brogues, wingtips, spats and many more.

Not just this, in his staged skit, Brennan also drew comparisons with Oscar-winning actor, Daniel Day-Lewis. He compared his exit from Dropout to Daniel’s retirement and departure from Hollywood to pursue a career in shoe-making. He concluded the video by saying:

“Look, I love and will always love my Dropout family, but sometimes your heart sings a song so loud that your soul can’t not hear it. I promised myself I would cry, and it’s just not happening.”

Who is Brennan Lee Mulligan?

Brennan Lee Mulligan is an award-winning comedian, actor, and game master. Born on January 4, 1988, in New York to actress and writer, Elaine Lee and comedian, Joe Mulligan, Brennan was introduced to role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons by his mother when he was just 9. He was introduced to theatrical gaming at the age of 11 and spent much of his teenage years as a story writer and performer.

He was homeschooled and graduated from SUNY Ulster with an associate's degree. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts. In 2017, Brennan joined CollegeHumor as a writer. Brennan wrote several shows on Dropout, which also included the Star Wars parody space saga Troopers. In 2025, his series, Dungeons and Drag Queens, won the ‘Best Web Series’ at the Queerty Awards.

Despite Brennan Lee Mulligan’s dramatic video, it is believed to be a comedic bit rather than a genuine exit.
