Recently, Agatha Christie's fans rejoiced when the OTT giant, Netflix, released Agatha Christie's Seven Dials on January 15, 2026, on the platform. Based on the adaptation of the author's 1929 novel titled The Seven Dials Mystery, the story follows Mia McMenna in the role of 'Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent', an amateur sleuth from the era. From trying to uncover a mu*der, espionage, and a family betrayal at the glittering country house party, the series captures it all in the most beautiful manner, which leaves viewers constantly on the edge of their seats. Now that the show has become a fan favourite among mystery lovers, the question that lingers in the mind is whether Agatha Christie's Seven Dials will return for a season 2.
Viewers have been loving Agatha Christie's Seven Dials from the moment it dropped on Netflix at the beginning of 2026. The series features a star-studded cast, including the likes of Mia McMennah-Bruce, Helena Bonham Carter, and Martin Freeman. While Mia's ‘Lady Eileen' was obviously the star of the show, Helena's cunning ‘Lady Caterham' and Martin's serious ‘Superintendent Battle' also received immense praise from viewers. Now that fans can't get enough of the Agatha Christie series, they have been urging the creators for a second season.

However, while the creators are enjoying the show's success and audience reactions, they haven't explicitly mentioned if there will be a sequel or a separate adaptation of Agatha Christie's works. If they do decide to adapt another story, one option could be The Secret of Chimneys, which is another novel featuring ‘Bundle’ that was released right before The Seven Dials Mystery. Unfortunately, the chances of this story becoming a natural prequel to the Netflix series seem unlikely, especially after writer, Chris Chibnall shot this down while speaking with RadioTimes.com. He stated:
"[The] Secret [of] Chimneys comes before Seven Dials, and the character of Bundle is quite different, actually, in the book. So I don't think there's a natural prequel or all that kind of stuff."

It is worth noting that, apart from novels featuring ‘Bundle’, ‘Superintendent Battle' also appears in three other works by Agatha Christie. This includes Cards on the Table (1936), Murder is Easy (1939), and Towards Zero (1944). However, the latter two have already been recently adapted by the BBC. Coming to any other unrelated Netflix adaptation of Christie's works, at the moment, the chances of that happening also seem to be pretty low. This is because in the same conversation with RadioTimes.com, Chris Chibnall said:
"At the moment, to be honest, because we're only just finishing making it, I'm just really excited to put this out into the world and see what happens and how people receive it. Because I think what we talked about right at the start was, 'Can we make this a delicious treat?'"

Fans did not have to wait long for the finale of Agatha Christie's Seven Dials, because being a three-episode mini-series and was released on the same day as its first two episodes. The show's ending definitely left room for more adventures, especially after ‘Bundle’ came to know that the Seven Dials Society guards global secrets instead of stealing them. Now, it remains to be seen if Mia McMennah-Bruce reprises her role as the corseted sleuth from the era. The possibility of a sequel cannot be completely dispelled, as writer, Chris Chibnall confessed:
