Drishyam In Real Life? Woman Allegedly Kills Husband With Boyfriend's Help, Buries Him Under Tiles

Husbands are getting killed by their wives, and this has been a widely-discussed topic in recent times. From the horrifying husband-killing in Meerut to the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, the shocking incidents have left people traumatised. Amid this, another similar case grabbed the attention. This incident took place in Sai Sharda Welfare Society in the Dhaniv Baug area of Nalasopara. What happened is horrifying, and it somewhat resembles the plot of the movie, Drishyam, where the deceased was buried under the tiles.

34-year-old Vijay Chauhan is allegedly murdered by his wife, Gudiya and her lover, Monu

The incident involved the murder of  34-year-old, Vijay Chauhan, who has been living with his 32-year-old wife, Chaman alias Gudiya Devi, in Sai Sharda Welfare Society in the Dhaniv Baug area of Nalasopara. According to the police, Vijay and Gudiya have been married for the last 10 years and have a two-year-old son. Reportedly, Gudiya has been in a relationship with 33-year-old, Monu Vishwakarma, who lived in the same neighbourhood. As per the reports, Monu and Gudiya conspired to kill Vijay.

If the reports are to be believed, Gudiya and Monu planned the murder of Vijay almost 15 days ago, and dug a six-feet-long, four-feet-deep and two-feet-wide pit to bury Vijay. Following this, Monu and Gudiya covered the pit with tiles, so that no one suspects them. The deceased's family members reside in Bilal Pada, where they recently purchased a home and needed money for it from Vijay. However, the senior inspector revealed that when the family members called him, he remained unreachable, so they called Gudiya. She informed the family members that Vijay was in Kurla for work.

Later, Gudiya turned off her phone and fled away. Vijay's younger brother arrived at their home later and found that the tiles were scattered here and there, from which a foul smell was emanating, which led him to dig the place, only to find an even stronger smell. Following this, Vijay's brother reached out to Pelhar police station to file a missing complaint. He informed the police about his brother going missing for days before Gudiya fled with Monu. Following this, an investigation began, and Vijay's body was found buried deep inside the tiles.

Talking about Gudiya and her alleged lover, Monu, they are reportedly on the run. A total of seven police teams are now searching for the alleged couple. A FIR on murder has been registered, and the investigation into the murder has been ongoing. For the unversed, such shocking incidents have been taking place for a while now. It first happened when the chilling husband murder case in Meerut left everyone shocked to the core. Secondly, it was the murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi, which left people shocked. Raja's wife, Sonam took him on a honeymoon in Meghalaya and killed him there.
