After the release of the film, Songs of Paradise, a lot of fans took to their X (formerly Twitter) handles and shared their thoughts on it. A lot of users appreciated the beautiful and soulful narrative. One fan wrote, "After decades a movie that touches soul." Songs of Paradise is a musical biographical drama, which is inspired by the life of a Kashmiri singer, Raj Begum, who has also been awarded with the Padma Shri. The film is set in 1950s and 1960s in Srinagar, and it follows 'Zeba Akhtar' (played by Saba Azad), who becomes 'Noor Begum' with her dedication and talent. She became the first female voice on Radio. The film explores the talent and challenges of 'Noor Begum'.

The film is directed by Danish Renzu and it brought together a group of very talented actors like Saba Azad, Soni Razdan, Taaruk Raina, Zain Khan Durrani, Sheeba Chaddha and more. The best part of the film is its music, which is composed by Abhay Rustum Sopori.
