As soon as she entered the airport premises, she was surrounded by some paparazzi who were stationed there. The actress happily posed and smiled for the cameras while walking towards the airport. However, at that very moment, one of the paps told Yami to pose, as he stated that the actress was spotted at the airport after a very long time. The pap can be heard saying, “Photo karlete haina ma’am. Bahut dino ke baad milre ho aap. Airport pe aap bahut dino baad dikhre ho”, in the video. In response to the same, Yami said, “Main bulati he nahin hu.” As soon as the video went out on social media, netizens started hailing the actress for her honest response.

For the unversed, Yami Gautam’s road to success in the film industry wasn’t a cakewalk at all. Right from the beginning, she had suffered numerous rejections. The actress was never afraid of hard work and struggle, but she started losing self-confidence when she was rejected because of her natural appearance. Not only this, the actress revealed that people used to tell her that her nose was like a ‘pakora’ and that if she wanted to make a career in the film industry, she had to get it fixed. It was disheartening for the actress to hear such advice from those working in the industry. However, she didn’t let it affect her, and after years of struggle and patience, she is undoubtedly one of the most in-demand actresses in Bollywood.
