Yami Gautam is one of the famous actresses in Bollywood. The diva never skips a chance to rule in zillions of hearts, courtesy of her acting chops, divine beauty, charming personality, and more. In her professional life, Yami is currently basking in the success of her film, Article 370. In her personal life, the actress is in seventh heaven as she is all set to be a mom soon. Yami got married to Aditya Dhar in 2021, and after three years of marital bliss, the duo is all set to welcome their first child into the world.
The mom-to-be, Yami Gautam, recently, in an interview with the IANS, shared that her hubby, Aditya Dhar is an exceptional cook. The actress mentioned that Aditya is a specialist in Wazwan cuisine, i.e., Kashmiri cuisine, including Roghan Josh and Yakhni. Talking more about her hubby's cooking skills, Yami shared that whenever Aditya cooks these scrumptious dishes for her, she expresses her wish to learn the same from him. Sharing how she often fails to acquire the learning skills from Aditya, Yami mentioned that either she loses track or becomes busy interacting with Aditya, and meanwhile, he completes making the dish. Yami revealed:
"My husband is an outstanding cook, I love Rogan Josh and Yakhni that he prepares for me. I tell him everytime he starts cooking that I want to learn but it so happens that I lose track of the ingredients and the cooking process because we get busy talking.”

In the same interview, Yami Gautam shared an adorable anecdote about her husband, Aditya Dhar. The actress mentioned that as she missed out on keeping track of how the dishes are done, she asked her hubby why he didn't show her the process. Yami shared that Aditya tells her whenever she feels like eating these dishes, he will cook the same for her. Yami can be quoted as saying:
"And by the time I realise, I tell him, ‘Again you didn’t show me how you cooked that’. He says, ‘But I put everything right in front of you. Don’t worry, every time you feel like eating this, just tell me, I’ll cook for you’. And we just laugh it off. The fact is that he doesn’t make it look like he is cooking. With me you will feel like I’m ‘cooking’."
In the same interview, Yami Gautam revealed that she and Aditya both find cooking to be a very calming process. The actress shared that she is very good at making desserts and she wants to master the pahadi cuisine. Yami further mentioned that she just loves to relish the food made by her mom. Yami said:
"For me, cooking is a very calming process. That’s the case even with Aditya. We will just put on some music and enjoy the process of cooking. I’m very good with desserts. I want to master Pahadi cuisine. I have grown up on that kind of food. I absolutely love ‘maa ke haath ka khana’. Moms have this quality of pulling off some of the most delectable recipes with minimal ingredients, and you don’t get any gut issues or get affected by that food in any negative way."
For those who don't know, Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar announced the 'good news' to their fans at the trailer launch event of Article 370. On the day, Yami could be seen flaunting her baby bump while slipping into a pretty dress. Moreover, it was Aditya who took care of his pregnant wifey as she climbed up the stairs. In between the media interaction, Aditya even brought Yami a pillow to make sure that she was comfortable. However, Aditya shared that soon they would get to know if they are going to be the parents to a 'Lakshmi' or 'Ganesh'.

Earlier, in an interview with Showsha, Yami Gautam revealed an important piece of advice that she received from her mom on her pregnancy. The actress shared her mom told her that the actress's feelings about working hard would gradually and subconsciously flow into the little one as well.
