Yami Gautam is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. The diva started her acting career in Bollywood with the movie, Vicky Donor. Apart from that, she was also seen in several hit movies such as Bala, Badlapur, Kaabil, and Uri: The Surgical Strike, among many others. She has recently been gearing up for the release of her film, Article 370. Talking about her personal life, Yami got married to the man of her dreams, Aditya back in 2021. The much-in-love couple is currently in seventh heaven as they are all set to hop onto the parenthood journey together. During the trailer launch event of Article 370, Yami and Aditya announced the 'good news' to their fans. Now, the actress has opened up about her pregnancy journey.
In an interview with India Today, Yami Gautam shared that the pregnancy journey is beautiful. The actress shared how amazing it felt when life gifted her with the most unexpected yet the most beautiful thing. Yami further added that she and her husband are family-oriented people, and time just flew away as it's been three years since she got married to Aditya. Yami can be quoted as saying:
"It has been a great journey and you never know what surprises life has lined up for you. You may spend time planning something and suddenly you are surprised with the most unexpected thing to happen. I am generally saying this. This is something so beautiful. We are both very family-oriented people. It is funny you how we didn’t even realise it is going to be three years of marriage for us till we started reading about it in the articles and newspapers.”

In the same interview, Yami Gautam mentioned that both she and her husband, Aditya, believe in the intuition of marriage and family values, which they wish to instil in their kid. The actress also shared that she had to take care of her health and work on her upcoming film. Yami heaped praises on her husband and family members for showering her with care and love and for supporting her. The actress further stated that she doesn't rely on the internet too much about what to do and what not to do. Rather, she just likes to go with the flow and enjoy every phase of life. Yami mentioned:
"We believe in the institution of having a family and nurturing our child and giving him or her the values we hold. It is important to have those little things inculcated in your kids. I really enjoyed this phase of balancing my work and I had to shoot the film also, all action portions were shot before. I had him by my side, my family by my side and blessed to be working what I enjoy doing and of course, being careful and being cautious also but not overthinking things which are not required. I do not read too much on the Internet on what to do and what not to do. Life goes on, you just have to enjoy every phase and just be happy in the moment.”
It was back during the trailer launch event of Article 370 when Yami surprised everyone as she could be seen flaunting her baby bump in her pretty white dress. In some videos, she hid her baby bump under her beige-hued coat. She could also be seen getting help from her hubby to step up on the stairs, which was heart-touching. However, while interacting with the media, Aditya confirmed that he and Yami are expecting their baby, and in a few months, they would get to know if it's a 'Lakshmi' or 'Ganesh'.
