Double the giggles, double the grins, double the trouble when you are blessed with twins. And while the journey of being a mother is a rollercoaster ride, fatherhood is also not a cakewalk. And thanks to daddy cool of the Tinseltown, now fathers are no more the strange beings who never understood their children's feeling. Bollywood director, writer, and host, Karan Johar is redefining the journey of fatherhood as a single daddy with his loving kids, Yash Johar, and Roohi Johar. The director made had made headlines in the year 2017 when he had announced the arrival of his two little wonders. And just like other star kids, Yash and Roohi and have marked their place in gen-next kids.
On August 3, 2019, Yash and Roohi celebrated the Twins Day by twinning in a matching blue ensemble. While Roohi donned a blue denim dress, Yash showed off his dapper side in a pair of white shorts teamed with a blue denim shirt. Karan took to his Instagram handle and shared the picture of the lovely twins as his Instagram story, and captioned it as "Twin Day Today!" Take a look at the picture below:
Before the birth of Yash and Roohi, Karan had always expressed his wish of becoming a parent. He had talked about the same in an interview and had said, “I don't know what I'm going to do about it but I feel like I would like to be a parent. I don't know how it's going to happen but I do feel the need because I have plenty of love to offer and I'd like to take it forward. This feeling needs a release and requires a platform. After the birth of Yash and Roohi, Karan had opened up about the journey of Bollywood. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Karan had opened about the same, and had said, “My life has changed since Roohi and Yash arrived. At 44, this is my biggest blockbuster. I still haven’t realised the enormity of what’s happened. They’re only two months old. And all they do is eat, sleep, burp, wail and poop. Kabhi khushi, kabhie gham! While I stare at them in wonder. But I can’t get over the fact that they are mine.”

Karan had further added, “It’s like a powerful switch has suddenly come on in my life, filling the emptiness in my personal space with new energy. I get teary-eyed just looking at them. It’s surreal to think of them as my daughter and son. It’s daunting even, but in a gorgeous way, when I wake up suddenly at night to remember that I have life breathing in the next room that I’m totally accountable for. My universe was Dad, Mom, and films. But now there are Roohi and Yash.
