South superstar, Yash, who is best-known for his fierce role in the KGF franchise, is currently gearing up for his upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas. For the unversed, the film will hit the theatres on March 19, 2026, clashing with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Recently, the trailer of Toxic was released, which generated a lot of buzz online. Amid that, read on to know the whopping fees of Yash for his role in the movie.
Yash is one of the highest-paid South actors. The success of the KGF franchise made the Googly actor a global superstar overnight. Talking about Yash’s fees for the upcoming film, an earlier report claimed that he took Rs. 50 crore for his role; however, a recent report by Asianet News claims that the much-loved actor took home a whopping amount of Rs. 150 crore. Some reports also claim that since Yash is the co-producer of the film, he might have taken more than Rs. 150 crore. However, the exact salary cannot be confirmed.

Ever since the trailer of the upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been released, fans have been wondering if Yash has a double role in the film. For those who do not know, the speculations started when two different looks of Yash from the film surfaced online. A few days ago, when the teaser was released, a fan commented, "Ig the bearded yash is father and the clean shaven one is son." Another fan wrote, "Looks promising and I guess he is doing a double role." A third fan also shared, "Looks like he's playing villain and hero both (maybe Father & Son)." Another user pointed out the clash between Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic and commented, "Dhurandar is in danger."
The upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is one of the much-awaited films of 2026. While details about the plot have been kept under wraps, Toxic is expected to be a dark action drama set in a powerful and intense world. The trailer of the film suggests that the movie will blend fantasy with themes like power, revenge, crime, relationships and survival.

Apart from Yash, the film also features superstars like Kiara Advani as 'Nadia', Nayanthara as 'Ganga', Rukmini Vasanth as 'Mellisa', Huma Qureshi as 'Elizabeth', Tara Sutaria as 'Rebecca' and more. Coming to the crew of the film, Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas. Reportedly, the film is produced under the banner, KVN Productions and Yash is the co-producer. A few weeks ago, when the movie faced backlash because of its violence, Geetu shared a post, which could be read as:
"Chilling while people figure out female pleasure, consent, women playing systems, etc., etc."

Yash, whose real name is Naveen Kumar Gowda is one of India's biggest superstars. But his journey to fame was not very easy. Reportedly, he was born on January 8, 1986, in Karnataka.
