YouTuber, Kanika Devrani Says She Was Drugged And Robbed In Delhi-Assam Train, 'Kuch Toh Spray Kia'

Kanika Devrani, also known as Kannu Priya, is a popular content creator and travel vlogger. She has 497K followers on her Instagram and is quite popular for her reels showcasing numerous hill stations around India. However, Kanika's recent reel, which has grabbed headlines, isn't one with scenic beauty. In the viral reel, the vlogger opened up about a scary incident where she claims that she was drugged and robbed along with some other passengers inside the Bramhaputra Mail.

Kanika Devrani says a suspicious passenger boarded the train in the wee hours of morning

Kanika Devrani was travelling in a 2AC coach of the Bramhaputra Mail. The vlogger claims that a suspicious passenger boarded the train at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station in West Bengal. In the reel "Indian railways is not safe", Kanika claims that she was sleeping during the time (around 4 AM), and had kept her iPhone 15 Pro Max under her pillow. Additionally, she had also put up the curtains around her seat while all the lights were switched off inside the train.

Kanika Devrani questioned why a man without a ticket was let inside the train

Kanika said that she later came to know that the man who boarded the train at the NJP Railway Station was without a ticket. The warden later told the vlogger that a lot of people board and unboard trains. At this, Kanika questioned in the reel where the TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) was and why the warden had let anyone inside the train. Then she revealed that the alleged robber had asked about the seat number to several other passengers and had a conversation with a woman who was occupying the upper berth, just above Kanika.

Kanika Devrani alleges that she was drugged and then robbed

When Kanila woke up, she heard an older man sitting nearby talking about how his phone had been stolen at night. Hearing this, when she checked for her phone, she found it missing and looked for it everywhere in panic. The vlogger has accused the unknown passenger of robbery and also says that she and the other robbed passenger both have suspicions that they were drugged. Kanika said that when she travels, she is quite alert even while sleeping.

But she thinks that the thief might have sprayed something and drugged her, since she did not wake up when he slid her curtains and took her phone from under her pillow. Kanika also said that she was 'not in her senses' and did not hear the woman on the upper berth and the alleged robber talking. The vlogger revealed that the other passenger, whose phone was also stolen, shares the same opinion and stated that he had been awake for quite some time during the night, but still could not perceive someone stealing his phone.

Kanika says that she used the Find My Device App and tracked her phone's live location, which showed Malda, West Bengal. She also tagged West Bengal and Malda police to help her find her phone. However, Kanika alleges that despite knowing the location of the phone, she is not being helped by officials. Kanika said that the phone is being switched on and off, and the thief is moving around, but there is no help for her from any side.
